Growing up at a time where Manchester was aptly dubbed Gunchester due to a spate of gun related murders,Leon began documenting the crimes and scenario's he was witnessing on an almost daily basis. Not wanting to pursue a career in 'real life' non fiction based literature his notes were left to sit in a cupboard gathering dust. Working for and encountering some of the country's most notorious gangsters that ran the nightclub scene Leon once again got the writing bug and decided to try his hand at crime fiction. Not really knowing where to start the idea was put on the back burner until 2012 when he decided to self publish a series of short novellas titled "Bad Bitch."
