Is there something beyond your current Christian experience that seems to be lacking? Is God calling you to the next level of His Glory?
God will reveal to you how to activate the prophetic destiny over your life that seems dormant. He is waiting for you to realize that your dream, prophecy, desire, or miracle is not dead only sleeping! God is ready to awaken those promises as you open yourself to His abundant glory.
"Jesus is the true Superhero-and through the Holy Spirit, He is living inside of us. We have the ability to demonstrate His ultimate supernatural power. I believe that raising the dead, casting out demons, interpreting dreams, reading people's hearts, and being transported to help someone in need are just a few of the ways we can operate in the glory realm. People want superheroes and we can provide the Ultimate Superhero for them - God Almighty." (David Herzog, Glory Invasion, Page 47)
This was the very first book I believe I have read other than the Bible on the glory of God. I have read through the Bible more than 20 times from front to back and I have seen the word "glory", but have never really understood what was meant when it was speaking about "glory".
This book will clarify some of the mysteries of the glory and how the glory of God can operate in your life. I am not finished studying about the glory of God and plan on reading more books to get a deeper understanding. You can speak in the glory, you can act in the glory. Your face can shine in the glory. I have personally come out of worship, praise and prayer and have had the glory of God shining on me and others commented that my face was shinning with the glory. Remember, Moses' face shined when he came down from the mountain after having communed with God. Let the glory of God come! To Him be all the GLORY, honour and praise!
I really enjoyed this book! Highlights I liked: created things and sound waves; miracles, speaking prophetic words and the power of our words when compared to in our own strength and when we wait for the glory to be present. Loved the revelation he gave on the levels of giving and sowing sacrificially and his own testimony on how that works., even the reaping. He shares on how to receive revelation, visions and dreams with soaking in the glory. Praising and worshipping in the glory, when God comes and when He moves - how to wait and know what He's doing. I could go on and on, I got this book for free and what a blessing it was!
This book is the beginning of a long expected revival by God through Jesus Christ's promise to the early apostles and to the John 17 disciples. From a reviewed understanding of Acts 2 to a new understanding of Acts 4, from a new understanding of God's creation in Genesis 1 and 2 applying newly exposed astro and quantum physics about the word spirit to an expectation of God's promise to pour His Spirit upon all flesh, the reader will delight to know who has made himself avaiable to the obedient and expectant servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I especially liked the author's description of open portals to heaven. These are the same concepts which I have experienced and explored. I found his understanding insightful and inspirational. I intend to read other books by David Herzog on these and related topics.
David Herzog is a well-known prophetic evangelist, with many healings and other miracles evidencing in his ministry. I am heartily glad for how God uses him.
The book, however, was a strange mixture of good points, iffy ideas which Mr. Herzog took for granted as true, and downright weird, out-there stuff. To be fair, it was written eleven years ago, and a lot may have changed in his thinking since it was penned.
I was intrigued by the section on quantum physics, scientific discoveries indicating the universe is based on sound, and how those fit together with supernatural activity.
I would have much preferred more careful adherence to the Bible, and at least an attempt to fortify the opinions offered with Scripture references. Such is everyday life in the prophetic sector of Christianity, and I hope this will change someday.
This was truly a fantastic book about the Spirit of the Lord through the Holy Spirit and God the Father's breath healing us. David gives step by step instructions on how to call on God for healing. He spoke about the Catholic Church and the Nicea council how they became anti Jewish. Men make mistakes. The Catholic Church has apologised and have a beautiful Spiritual Connection with the Jewish Religion and it's people. I want the readers to know that.
Good explanation for the above topics with robust biblical references. But I personally think reading up on the Holy Spirit and manifestations of the gifts should precede studying this book as it deals with areas that might be unfamiliar and can be overwhelming to some, especially those new to the faith. I would recommend Carriers of Glory by David Diga Hernandez and Hearing God's Voice by Doug Addison.
If you’re hungry for miracles, signs like in the Bible, wonders, and the “greater works” that Jesus spoke about, this book is for you. Laid out in easy to follow directions with testimonies, it will stir you to step out and do more for God.
I classify this loosely as Theology, while it might be considered more personal Faith and Life. The author writes in the charismatic stream, but it is an interesting mix of New Age, personal jargon and biblical terminology.
He focuses on access to Divine power for healing and other miracles in one's life. But he uses a lot of concepts and terminology from New Age and Hindu perspectives, such as astral bodies, that are not commonly used in Christan circles. The author does not use that actual term, but talks about projecting one's spirit and presence to great distances spiritually.
He speaks of these out-of-body experiences in the same terms as the Hindu-based New Age tradition of Madame Blavatsy and Theosophy. Because of these aspects, I can see some book stores placing this book on the New Age shelf.
His terminology is imprecise and at points arcane. He uses some biblical terminology, but most is jargon peculiar to his ilk or to himself. He seems unaware that he draws heavily on Hindu thought-forms for his fundamentalist and formulary Christian formats of miracle.
Herzog styles himself as a Christian healer. He conducts miracle crusades and has, by his report, raised people from the dead. His concept of salvation and the Kingdom of God are not clear. He does not indicate any awareness of Covenant relationship concepts that are the core of the biblical perspective.
Similarly he indicates no awareness of the variety of cultural concepts carried by the Greek or Hebrew words and metaphors behind the English terminology he references in biblical passages. It winds up being a mish-mash.
He focuses on miracles and demonology. But his demonology is sketchy, and follows more the shadowy motifs of popular western cultural spirituality. He focuses on power formulas, unlike the variety of formats we find in the New Testament examples.
