Premise: I’m a bad girl—a convicted armed bank robber. It isn’t the pardon, fame, or riches I’m after though. It’s the monsters themselves. I’ve got a mighty hunger. Pretty much, this one girl who's such a super badass is sent to a Monster Island, filled with blood thirsty monsters, for a TV survival show. To win the show, you have to be the last one standing, but Sammie has another goal: to get f*cked by a monster. When she meets Thracker, the biggest and meanest ogre on the island, she hits the jackpot.
I don't understand how this novella has so many good reviews. I was expecting something really cool and hot but was only met with an anime over-the-top hentai, parodying Hunger Games. I could forgive the dumb plot as it was obviously just a setup for the heroine's goal to happen. But I can't forgive the characters who were so unlikable, especially Sammie. She was literally a walking pet-peeves of mine; an obnoxious self-proclaimed badass. She was one-dimensional and just plain annoying. As for Thracker, nothing about him was hot. And most of all, his sheer size (10ft) was just a put-off for me. Their size difference just made everything so unbelievably stupid that I couldn't enjoy any of the smut, which could've been great had Thracker been a third of his size smaller.
I can't help but think this author is a big troll. There's no way she was serious writing this. I didn't like it. The conclusion of the story was so weird too. It was entertaining, maybe? I guess? Also the epilogue wasn't really an epilogue. Introducing some random character? It was confusing, didn't conclude anything to Sammie and Thracker's story. The relationship between them was just lust and blood. And a big waste of my time.

Ohmygod I loved this. This was the first book I've read by Beatrix Hollow and I was cautious about reading her books due to the plethora of warnings but perhaps I'll read more of her books due to my immense enjoyment of this one!

Sammie gets thrown onto this reality TV show called Monster Island. It's about convicts being led to slaughter basically on this island full of monsters. But Sammie has another goal in mind than just surviving. She wants to get with a monster!

Monster Island is a deadly reality show where criminals and convicts can go to compete for a prize and a fresh start. No one has ever won it but that doesn’t stop Sammie from going because she doesn’t care about the prize - she just wants to bang a monster. Luckily for her, Thracker (a 10ft tall Ogre with 2 🍆’s), wants to bang a human. The showrunner’s aren’t exactly pleased with the new direction their show is going 🤣
This is one of those books where it just does what it says on the tin. Deadly competition - check! Tons of monster fuckery - double check! It’s fast and exciting and shockingly sexy. I ate this up and can only hope there’s more to come on this island. 5⭐️4🌶️

I do want to add that while I expected the spice to be over the top ridiculous in its size difference, it was also to a point that was more uncomfortable than funny to me personally. Like it went from hot to painful maybe halfway through the scene. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
That epilogue sucked. It didn't really add anything of value to the story imo, it's not relevant, and kinda low-key ruined the funny vibe for me. I'd recommend not bothering to read the epilogue.

For most, money, fame, and freedom are enough of an incentive, until one comes seeking something more…carnal. Quick and entertaining, this cheeky, f!lthy book by Beatrix Hollow is everything you need in a monster smüt story. Hold on tight!
This extended short story is filled with all manner of mayhem, and at the center of the storm lies Sammie, a woman that knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to take it, and Thracker, a massive ogre with a filthy mouth and some *extra* anatomy. Sassy, IDGAF attitudes blended with intense desire and very specific fantasies, these two are a match made in heaven. Both morally gray, they’ll do whatever it takes to get their way.
I’ll be real with you here, this is monster er0tica at its finest. We’re talking ‘how does that even work’ over-the-top outrageousness, and I ate it up with glee. Low plot, high smüt, fast burn/insta-lüst, extreme size difference (understatement) along with copious amounts of green batter, you couldn’t ask for more. Steamy doesn’t even begin to cover it.
This story is such a great concept that has plenty of room for expansion. While Thracker may be the biggest and baddest on the island, other beasties deserve some love, too! This was a fun read that ended too soon, and I would absolutely love to read more. Also, I found a certain side character to be an incredible addition, and I’d love to see him get his moment in the spotlight as well. All in all, another great one from Hollow. I loved it.

This book delivers - Sammie clearly gets what Sammi wants and it’s spicy y’all! This book gets right to the two-headed point and doesn’t stop. It’s quick paced and super filthy fun.

A short story that I only got through half of it…omg what a load of crap.. this is about a huge ogre with a gigantic penis and also a 2nd penis..and how they are trying to get it to fit inside the female character 🙄

This was an absolutely wild ride 😂 Definitely check the content notes for TWs because it’s violent, gory, and extremely “ogre” — and not the fun Shrek kind of ogre lol.
You’ll really need to suspend belief for this one because it goes to “unrealistic anime-pr0n belly bulge” levels of impossible size difference; like. She should’ve d!ed ☠️ honestly, lmao. There is no magical stretching or healing or anything like that, just a girl with a mission to check of her biggest life aspiration: f*cking a monster. And an ogre with two enormous 🍆🍆 ready to fulfill her dreams of being a human sleeve. 🙈
It was an entertaining read and Beatrix Hollow delivers on exactly what she promises to. If you know what you’re going in to I think you’ll enjoy the read; if you’re hopping in blind, well… good luck! 🫡

This book was the epitome of a crazed monsterfucker and it was awesome. Sammi is in an equivalent of the hunger games with the goal to fuck a monster. Everyone else wants to survive and win a clean slate and cash. It’s hilarious and ridiculous.

So good thing she met our giant ginger ogre, Thracker, with the same life goal 🙊 I seriously loved her and all her antics 😂 Hugely recommend to all my monster lovers out there!!

Oh wow um.. so I’ve read losts of monster romances but none quite like this! It was fast paced and dirty (but in a good way) if you’re looking for plot then this story isn’t it.
Sammie is going to monster island for one reason only.. and that’s to bump uglies with a monster. Thracker has always wanted to *do* a human so I guess it’s a match made in heaven! The spice is good and different, but he’s so much bigger than her that honestly she should’ve died when they bumped uglies.
But Beatrix does it again with any other monster romance and i would totally read it if she decided to make it an actually full length stand-alone

This was something all right. Over the top, graphic, titillating and action packed. Just this side of too much. I was thoroughly entertained the entire time. Hunger games meets monster lovers? Sign me up. This is for all the monster lovers out there that fantasize about unabashedly freaky and being double stuffed to their heart’s content. 4/5 would I read it again? Likely. But I’m a monster lover. 😉

I will forever pick up a Beatrix Hollow book because I love her style. But, this one is my least favorite of her works. In my opinion, the writing felt incomplete. And the plot took a few too many odd turns for me to find it enjoyable😔.

Think hunger games meets monsters with the addition of sex. I enjoyed it a lot! It’s a quick paced hot read about an ogre and the girl who makes it her mission to have sex with him while also trying to escape the other monsters trying to kill her.

Went into this expecting pure monster smut and that’s exactly what I was given.

So that happened. I mean gotta love an FMC who goes after what she wants. This has a hunger games feel to it if the hunger games didn't have a plot and was all smut. I enjoyed it very much. I will be reading more by this author

OMG this books brings all the smut. I loved the idea of this and will have to check other books out with this type of story. It starts with her parachuting onto monster islands and then has a journey and one series spice se& scene. It was well written and really enjoyed it.

Thracker is that big and bag monster, an ogre set on eviscerating every human that crosses his path. That is until Sammie.
This was such a fun read! Quick, but with excellent spice and action-packed adventure. If you go into this knowing that it's smut over plot then I think you'll have a good time. I loved how Thracker changed from "I'm going to k!ll everyone" to "touch her and d!e." 🥵 I can't resist when the big bad monster becomes a simp for his woman. And Sammie is the epitome of a badass FMC.
Beatrix Hollow, is this really an AU "Hulk x Black Widow" fanfic? Because that's who I kept thinking of while reading, and I'm here for it if it is!

Sammie is 1 of 21 new contestants on the show, Season 4, all competing for a chance to be the best and for their freedom. No survivors have come out of this yet. Only, Sammie, has only one want on this island. It isn't to slaughter as many monsters as she can... Her dream goal is to have wicked amazing s e x with a monster. With their big appendages, it was all she could think about. Even running for her life, the thought made her as wet as can be.
When she meets Thracker, the meanest, greenest Ogre on the island. Everything changes. Their desires are the same, only for each other. This match made in Monster Paradise just got a whole lot steamier.
When Sammie is declared winner, her final recorded moments set off a chain of events no one predicted. Will Sammie and Thracker be able to stay together? Will they bring another season to Monster Island? Will Sammie be enough for Thracker?

Honest ARC Review: If you’re looking for a super quick monster romance read that is wild then look no further. This short story is packed full with crazy spice, an unhinged human, and a ferocious berserker ogre. Sammie is a criminal who was selected to be part of a reality show called Monster Island. Competitors are dropped on an island full of monsters and challenged to survive. Most people are fighting for the cash and fame but not Sammie. She’s got one goal and that’s to find a big bad monster and take them for a ride. She finds a gigantic green ogre with red eyes, tusks, and something huge under the loincloth he wears. Thrasher is the top predator and relishes killing the weak humans who visit his island. But when he sees the tiny human woman he decides to seduce her instead of kill her. Most humans are horrified and scared out of their mind when they see him but not Sammie. He becomes fond of the human and decides he wants to keep her and protect her. I loved how confident and wild Sammie was. She’s tough, funny, horny, and just plane awesome. If you are into smut heavy stories with major size difference, “it’s not going to fit,” possessiveness, belly bulge, double the equipment, and a wild fun ride then check this book out.

Monster Island is game show where they drop off convicts off on an island filled with monsters and the last one standing wins. The convicts are able to be free as well as win a half of million dollars. Great motivation right? Well Sammi is also has another motivation to be in it and that is to meet her life long goal of fucking a monster! She will do anything to get what she wants. Great news! There is an ogre there who also has the same life long goal of fucking a human. Thracker isn’t letting his little human get away and he will keep her as long as he can.
This book was short but it felt longer than it actually was because of how jam packed it was with action. Besides the whole monster fucking, there is actual murder, blood, and violence on the island too. I didn’t expect this book to be so funny but kudos to Sammi and her determination to 👏get👏fucked👏 I also absolutely love her and Thracker! Thracker is obsessed with fucking a human and now he is making her his mate. Absolutely enthralled by her and it’s adorable. This book came as a recommendation by Yulie and I can’t wait to read more from Beatrix Hollow!
