Sent to Ashe, stuck between life and death, Maggie is living in a dream, remembering nothing of the battle to save the world or her love for Luc. There is only one way back—she must remember it all. But in leaving the perfection that is Ashe, she’ll lose her mother all over again.
Luc won’t let Maggie go without a fight. Even as he watches her body withering before his eyes, eh refuses to give up on their love. Aided by trusted friends, Luc wages war to bring back the Phoenix he loves, even as a threat far bigger than Ossa lets his presence be known.
When you are left with only one chance to get it all back, do you seize it, or do you burn the world to the ground?

I get the privilege of Beta reading for this author. Trust me.. It's beyond brilliant. The hardest part is not screaming from the rooftops how much you love the books! Well now it's out and I can scream from the rooftops! I LOVE this series and this book! This series keeps getting better and better. Each book exceeds my expectations! Then sets the bar higher.

Our heroic Maggie is in Ash. Our (errr MY) Luc is hurting and wants her back. He will do just about anything to get her back.
So whilst Luc is trying to save the realm he also is trying to bring back his love. kills your heart with his utter desperation for his love.
This book is dark. It's struggle and strife. It's gritty and raw.
Now this is all taking place and Maggie- gods Maggie had her own battles and tests. While in Ash life well let us just say in some ways it is ideal.
I literally was glued to my screen on kindle. Once the book was all
Together I was blown away!
Maggie just has grown into one of my fave heroines ever. She is strong and compassionate - amazing.
Luc well minus the obvious. He is fearless and loving. He has a passion. It's beautiful to see his character grow.
The love story of this series- fantastic.
Hayden makes me laugh out loud and wanna bring his Elf self home to meet mom.
Plus don't even get me started on my admiration for Seetha. Actually another wonderful thing about the series is the friends and family side of story. Maggie has a bond of love that stands beside her.

This book - this series. I have laughed. Cried. Cussed and triumphed. It's broken my heart(Michel) and mended the pieces.
Each book gets better, each chapters weaves the tale into
Your heart just a bit more.
I am happy we have book 5 soon. Although it is a sad undertone. I never want to lose my journey with my friends from the realm.
Read this series. Embrace it and fall in love like I have. Lisa Morgan you are a rock star!

The funny thing is before I started to read this bookie Lisa and I were talking and I kept asking 'am I gonna wanna kill you for the cliffhanger I know you left?' The woman kinda beat around the bush and didn't give me a direct answer but luckily I don't want to kill her as it wasn't to horrible what I want her to do is hurry it up on the final book, so I can get my happily ever after (which I better get Lisa). Luc still hasn't changed much well I mean he has in the fact of how much he loves Maggie, but he's still protective as ever when it comes to his little phoenix, "I seethed with anger. I will slaughter them all..." That's a tad bit dramatic if you ask me but that's Luc for ya. He's still a sarcastic little s***, and will do anything to protect his woman, "umm, no. I don't think I will. You see, this is my wife, and maybe sometime in the future I'll decide what a critical error in judgement it was to get tied down so young, but I haven't reached that point yet, so I think I'll keep her -" Desperate times call for desperate measures and the way this book is going Luc is getting desperate, "I would give myself to you a hundred times, Maggie, if only you'd look at me once." Maggie that girl has grown some balls and I'm telling you what I'm loving it, "it would seem that going to Ashe left me with a few new gifts," I warned as I smirked to the female who quaked at my feet. "If you would be so kind...leave." Michel who I was routing for in book 1 and then decided I wanted to kill him at the end of book 2, well...I still want to kill him, "stay and show me the sunshine again. Be my light in the darkness. Stay and...as you once did. I will give you the universe, if you just spare me your love." And I'll totally give you my vomit that comes out of my mouth if you don't shut up. Alright the 5th and final book needs to be out here soon.

Oh boy.....each time I read the next installment I find myself more and more at a loss for words. Lisa Morgan has quickly become a top five favorite author of mine.

Though I tried my hardest to read slow and take breaks I still sped through it. With most series I find that my interest slowly trickles down after the third book...but I was completely captivated, once again, by the plot and twists Morgan throws at us with this series.

With Maggie stuck in Ash, Luc has a hard time staying....well, sane without her as he tries any and everything he can to get her back. I was so heartbroken right along with him each time he watched her lifeless body and begged her to remember him and come back. I felt like I was the third piece of their souls.

If the heartbreak wasn't enough we still have battles raging and a Realm that is falling apart at the hands of Michel. The suspense and action is true to Morgan's writing and doesn't disappoint.

Hayden....I love his character and was pleased to see him take on such a role in this book. However, I was pulling my hair out waiting for Stephanie to arrive and them fall together seamlessly.....PSHAH as if Morgan could let it happen so easily. I'm still waiting....

Phoenix Ashes is now my favorite in the series, but of course I say that with each new release. I am ANXIOUSLY awaiting the fifth and FINAL installment. What will I do once it's finished??

Phoenix Ashes by Lisa Morgan is the 4th book in the Maggie Henning and the Realm series and it is abso-freaking-lutely fabulous. This story continues right from the end of book 3, the battle has been fought and Maggie has fallen. But Maggie isn't dead. As a phoenix, Maggie is in an alternate world and she will need to decide whether to stay in her happy place or return to the real world and Luc.
I am a huge fan of this series and I have to say that this is my favorite book so far - although I am eagerly waiting for book 5 to be released.
As always, Ms. Morgan's writing is superb and the story flows smoothly and draws the reader in. I've learned that I cannot stop reading once I start one of her books - they are impossible to put down.
The characters that Ms. Morgan has created with the series are absolutely wonderful. Each character is so well developed and has such a unique personality. And all the characters blend together and make the story amazing.
I've always loved Prince Luc and this book made me fall in love with him all over again. His utter devotion to Maggie is so romantic and special. He is willing to do anything to bring Maggie back to him.
I highly recommend this series and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series and see what happens - especially since there was a surprise at the end of this book ;-)

I had the awesome privilege of beta reading this book, and I find myself in a familiar position. Every time I read a book in this series I (reluctantly) put it down thinking "wow, this one was even better than the last one!" So here I am again, having finished Phoenix Ashes, and yes...you guessed it. It really and truly was even better than the last! This book begins with Maggie in Ashe, and Luc struggling to bring her back to him. And all in the midst of battling against the tyranny and destruction brought on by his brother Michel. This book had a darker undertone, and the writing was so mature and well developed. I felt Luc's desperation to have Maggie returned, and I felt Maggie's frustration as she knew deep down that something was very wrong, yet the truth remained just out of her grasp. Phoenix Ashes is now officially my favorite book in this series. At least until the next one comes out :-)

“Phoenix Ashes” picks up where the last book left off and is just as amazing as the previous books. If you haven’t read this series yet I highly suggest you start it. In this book the battle continues and Maggie and Lucian along with the rest of the gang are in for the fight of their lives against Michel, Ossa and the revenants. Events causes Maggie to forget all that matters and she has to remember who she is and what she lost before it’s gone forever. Reading this book was like watching a movie; a movie you won’t want to pause or stop until the end. There is never a dull moment in it this story. I look forward to reading the next book in the series, which I really hope is released soon. I am dying to know how everything plays out. This is one series I can see myself reading over and over. Author Lisa Morgan never fails to amaze. This one will definitely leave you with a smile on your face.

I read Phoenix Ashes by Lisa Morgan. I recommend this book! I am struck how sucked in to this series I am! I am now biting my nails for the next book in this series, Phoenix Resolution! In this book, Maggie "sleeps" for the first half because she has been killed in the Realm and is transported to Ashe. Everything in Ashe is perfect for her. Her mom is there, her best friend Stephanie, the life of a teenager, but things start to happen to her physically that has no explanation in Ashe... it is with her connection to someone in the Realm.
Back in the Realm, Luc, Maggie's brand new husband, is lost. He can't seem to get a hold on his emotions because Maggie could be lost to him forever if she does not try to remember the Realm and want to come back. He has a chance with the help of his best friend Hayden to visit her in Ashe. He has to be careful not to reveal too much.
I want to say this book is a joy to read and had me zoned in to Maggie and Luc's life! This is a phenomenal series and everyone should read it! Each book takes it to a new level I did not even imagine. Good stuff!

Talk about an intense and incredible install to this great series!

Phoenix Ashes starts off right where Phoenix Burning ends. Action packed and never a dull moment, Lisa sucks you right back in and holds you tight to the story. I loved how dedicated Luc is to Maggie in Phoenix Ashes. There are definitely some tender moments that are one-sided but so intense that they had me tearing up.

I guarantee you will love this install to this series! It's so hard not to love it!!!!

Kudos Lisa on another great read!!!
