This book gives the reader a good overview to how this complicated system works. In this time when TRUMP rules anyone will doubt how things are here accomplished. Anyways the democracy and this complicated bureaucratic system is in danger and to fight this anti-democracy movement we should understand firstly how goverments work. I recommend it.
While portions of this text were genuinely informative, large portions of it read like fluff that was only put there to make the book long enough to last a whole semester, while other things I wish had been covered in more depth were skimmed over. Perhaps that's just because it was an introductory text. However, I think it could have been structured better.
