Necessity and reality

A needed guide to thinking, submitting and surrendering in a daily walk of survival during recovery. Five stars out of five. A guide to ideals and practical hope. I need it next to my bible.

What if you didn't know the 12 steps??

I know, I can Google them, and I did. Still, it would be nice to have them on hand in case you need reminding. Also, I do not worship any god. There were a few references to choosing your "higher power" and a thousand references to the Christian God as the clear choice. Mother nature is my god, so I mentally inserted her name where necessary. Most passages were very helpful. I just found those relating heavily to religion unhelpful.

Guess I should've looked up the steps before getting too far into the book. Still, I will read each daily passage every year.

Full of great encouragement and “cultural christianity”, but I found many of the ideas to be in opposition with Biblical truths.
