Hirohiko Araki ( 荒木飛呂彦) is a Japanese manga artist. He left school before graduation from Miyagi University of Education.
He enjoys the baseball manga Kyojin No Hoshii (Star of the Giants); the video games Mario Kart and Bomberman; and likes Prince and other African-American singers, as well as jazz, rock, and rap.
- zombies! and invisible zomvies are worse than regular ones absolutely - gotta admit that araki goes all out with characters design - a battle royale in prison? neat - old people are scary in this series
Loooooots of fight scenes in this volume. If your character has to ask "what just happened?" during an action scene, your reader is probably asking the same thing. But this just reinforces how much I want to watch this arc animated. I love that Dio's still a prominent character in the series, even if it's just in flashback scenes, but he also seems so different from the Dio you're introduced to way back in Phantom Blood. Curious to see more of his flashbacks as Stone Ocean goes on.
