With each entry being 3-10 sentences, and multiple entries per day it's a fun read. While I didn't read every entry in this book I read enough of each month to get a flavor. Things like pride month, women's history month and black history month are celebrated there are also mentions of LGBT history that parents might want to screen. With multiple entries per day this is easy as there are lots of science, history, sports, and art entries that are informative. This would make an excellent homeschooling book for a parent that does a morning time. There is also a place for you to write in your own history that month.

An interesting event or more for each day of the year. Considering I use this in class, I would have liked more even distribution of events. There are 2 on some days with 6 on others. Would like it to be more even.

Very fun to read. I learned quite a bit. The illustrations fit the theme. And yes, I remember quite a few of the events.

Fantastic History

What a fascinating way to learn history! Although it is not a complete history, it makes learning fun.
I highly recommend this book to people of any age, but especially to young people.
