There’s nothing earth-shattering introduced here, most of the ideas suggested are things you probably already know about though there are a few practical tips that I found very helpful. This book is a compact read that delivers all the tips and information in a professional and friendly voice, it reads even better if you do it with a British accent.

I found some of these points were great but on a whole some seemed either known or out of reach.

Healthy Living by Elisabeth Wilson is a nonfiction book with tips and insight into multiple aspects of healthy living. I have read dozens of health books, but most of her tips were new to me or I at least gained further knowledge from them. I found that most of them were very insightful, helpful, and had a new angle on how to be healthy.

Part one covers tips about: how to become healthier instantly, why exercise even though you don't want to, how to boost immunity, how to increase energy, and others. Part two speaks about low energy, sleep, metabolism, stress, and several other topics. Part three goes over fertility, vegetarianism, supplements, exercise, forgiveness, and others. Part four talks about dental health, bone health, healthy eating, dealing with the holidays, attitude, youth, and other topics. So as you can tell there are a lot of good tips to learn from this book. There are also a few quizzes scattered throughout the book to self-assess your current behavior, as well as several celebrity health plans.

There were a couple of things that could have been improved upon in this book, which are: more detail and better organization of the chapters. As far as more detail, if you are looking for a quick read or if you don't have a lot of time to read about health, this is the perfect book for you, because it covers many different topics in one concise book and there is enough information to be able to apply the tips to your life and improve your health. Plus, most of the tips are completely realistic and easy to implement.

I give this book four out of five stars and I recommend it. I am glad it is now a part of my bookshelf of health books.
