Kieran and Talia are a match made in hell. Anyone that goes to their high school knows that so what happens when they get paired together for a cultural research project?

Kieran Bhatia is living his best life during his senior year of high school. He has nothing to worry about except the one goal he set for himself to accomplish-- put his family back together.

Talia Linz has the grades to get into any college of her dream, her friends to support her, and knows she wants to be a lawyer someday. However, her only goal is at the moment is to find a place she can call home.

Will either them be able to succeed or will finding out what the other's goal is cause them to create obstacles for each other?

This book was perfectly named. It is not only about finding a place to call home, but about how home is where your heart lies. In this story we follow a boy who has one goal to bring his family back together again. We also follow a girl who whats find a safe place/ home. These two hate each other but are forced to work together on a school project, and it is though a mutual friend that they find that they dont have to be enemies. We get to follow these two though adulthood. I recomd this story for teens and up and found it to be a cute and sweet read. I was giving a copy of this book to reveiw and all of these opions are mine and mine alone. That being said i will likely buy a copy for a friend of mine.

Due to a personal matter, I had to pause reading and didn't have the opportunity to update the date. As for the book, I would rate it 5 stars. I appreciated the inclusion of multiple love stories within a single book, offering a delightful "buy one, get one free" experience.

Kieran and Talia have to be one of my favorite couple's this author has written. Next to Mona and Zavian from Contracted Together, if you have been following this indie author, you will realize how easy it is to fall in love with her characters. Talia is relatable to me - which hurts to say- but seeing a fictional character that you can easily relate to makes you not only connect with them but love the story more.

In addition, I enjoyed seeing multiple tropes and cultures represented in the novel. This dedication was by far my favorite of all dedications.

5 stars aren't enough for me with how much I cried and enjoyed the book. I wish I could rate it higher but since I can't 5/5 will have to do.

I love this author gives us multiple tropes in one book. Usually people sell their novel focusing only on one trope.

Here we get:
- Enemies-to-lovers
- Found Family
- Brother's Best Friend
- small little glimpse of second chance romance

What I really enjoyed was the proposal scene of Talia and Kieran due to what he says when he proposes to her. I also loved how the story was in three parts -- high school, college, adulthood. I'd recommend this book if you are looking for a book that will make you laugh, cry, be happy, be angry, basically a rollercoaster of emotions. Easy to read in just a day.

I loved the idea of this book. It touched on some hard topics for awareness. I love the plot and the way everyone came together in the end. I do think that it could go through some more editing to try and fill the holes that are in it and maybe smooth it out so it makes more sense since there were a few times I got confused. Some characters were there and then seemed to be completely forgotten about but brought up again for another chapter way ahead. Things happened but we don’t find out until way later. I feel like it was rushed. Overall I really did like the plot and character development, the characters were very relatable.

I think every senior in high school should read this book at least one time in their life. I might even ask our old librarian to put it in battle of the books because this is a must read for high school students.
