No Hell Below Us is a poorly executed, wannabe satire dripping with transphobia and conspiracy theories. It only ever achieves a juvenile level of humor, with half of the jokes being weird variations on real-life politicians' names (Moe and Trapper Hyden, OAC, et al.) More damningly, it is laced with snide barbs directed at trans people, such as insinuating that trans children are the victims of mothers with Munchausen-by-proxy Syndrome.
