This book was amazing. I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked it up but it captured me from the beginning sentences and kept me reading through to the end. It really spoke to my heart. God used Nicole's words to remind me of a conversation we had started months ago and I was able to fully step out in obedience and finish what He had asked me to do. In addition, God and I are in the middle of another conversation, largely in part to Nicole's heartsearching questions and my heart is to line up with God's will on this subject as well. Without preaching or invoking a false sense of guilt, this book opens the lines of communication between our Father and ourselves as we deepen our relationship with Him. Highly recommend.

This book delivers exactly what it promised in the title—it gave me courage and confidence. Nicole Salmon shares authentically and vulnerably about her own struggles, how she overcome difficult situations, and now uses her experiences to help others. This book challenged me to rethink my purpose and evaluate whether my motives come from the inside out—to free me to be who God created me to be. I like how Nicole differentiated between one's calling from specific assignments. Nicole is a wise guide who encourages you to rest and reflect when needed and keep going when you feel ready to give up.

Excellent! Nicole knows the audience she is writing too and because of that she is able to be herself and share from a place of "let's grow together". I was deeply moved by this book and I truly believe that if you've toiled with self-worth and wanted to tear away the mask and step into all that you've been created to be grab a copy for yourself and for a friend and dive in with a highlighter and pen. You won't be disappointed. Well done Nicole!

I absolutely do not mind religion, but it is not the same as self-help or psychologically-based science. To promote a book about courage and confidence to be yourself and then add the "as long as you're close to the Holy Spirit" feels sneaky. Why do I have to be a part of a religion or be close to what Christians believe in order to be worthy of feeling courageous and confident?

Awesome read. I couldn't put the book down. I don't like reading, but this book was so informative and inspiring it took me two days to read, and I am reading it a second time. Even my husband was surprised when he saw me reading he had to ask what I was reading. I
