Things finally start to get interesting. Also, loved the Hazel and Foxglove cameos, thus connecting this volume to the aftermath of the 'A Game of You' arc.

Sexton tags along with Didi/Death to find Mad Hettie's heart. It's a night they'll not forget in a hurry. Especially after getting themselves abducted by a blind magician who takes Death's ankh.

Random chick "Ah, Live fast, love hard, leave a beautiful corpse."
Sexton Furnival "Not really. More live dull, and think, why bother, and leave a note saying goodbye."

Mad Hettie, a 250 year old immortal, has threatened to kill Sexton unless Death finds Hettie's misplaced heart, which she hid a long time ago to escape death, but as time passed she has done what we all do after time passes, forgotten where she's put her heart. Death agrees, but also has things to do. She puts on a top hat, and becomes EVEN cuter than you could possibly imagine. *gleeful squee* I love how Death has always looked in any Sandman series. Best incarnation of Death ever.

Sexton is in for an adventure with Death, who seemingly never has to pay for anything. I wish I had that power! There's a very interesting exchange even, and the ending was super .. uh, reminded me of a scene from inception. I am intrigued, and I need more.
