This is book #5 in an exciting, sexy series that most certainly does not lack in action and passion. I did rate this book a little lower than the last few books, and the reason is that some of the content is beginning to become repetitive. In this story, the queen (Holly) has been taking captive by the faction run by Kier. Holly is grieving the death of her mate, and wants revenge on the monster who did it. As time goes on though, the line between enemy and protector dulls and Holly becomes very confused over what and who she wants.
Then we have Aubree and Beau who are becoming closer to one another. Beau begins to remember some things about his past and realizes that he may not want to go back to who he was. When the past finally does catch up with him, will it get in the way of what is developing between him and Aubree?
In this installment, there is lots of fight scenes, and once again the author does a wonderful job at writing a very clear description on what is happening. Her writing style makes it so that I feel as if I'm a spectator watching what is going on. The sex too, is described so precisely that it is like being in the same room. There is some more non consensual sex is this story, so it is not for everyone. I am glad that I gave this series a chance and I will definately follow it through to the end.

*********** 5 BLOOD LUST STARS ***********

Seed is the 5th installment of The Druid Series by Marata Eros.

This is one exciting, action packed, erotic, sexy Vampire series. You never know what is going to happen. So many twist and turns.SO GOOD!!

In this book you learn about all the different types of vampires. First you have the Reapers who are the vampire warriors. Next you have the Rogue who are a group of vampires that posses Druid Blood and Reaper Blood. Last you have the faction, they are the decedents of the sacred union basically they are ANIMALS.

The Vampire Queen (Holly) is still not pregnant and has been kidnapped by the man (Kier) who killed her mate (Zach). Kier works for the faction and is also (male) Druid Blood.

I hate that a main character was killed so soon in the series but it is totally working for the new series of events.

Holly becomes very confused while in Kier possession. She is morning the death of her true mate but her body is calling out to the man responsible. She knows that her body is made to breed and what is expected of her but what she feels for Kier can not be true. Will she let Kier have her knowing that he killed Zach?

Kier feels a pull toward Holly and that is NOT supposed to happen. He is a male Druid Blood.

Holly screams for the three men who took her to complete the ritual of her being Queen. The men hear her summoning them and they have to find her and save her. Cole goes with them to rescue their Queen. Only Cole feels something is not right with Rachel.

Cole leaves Rachel and he knows she is keeping something from him. He knows she is sorry that they left the house and she blames herself for Holly's capture.

~Con~
[image error]

Con is a out of control ruthless vampire bastard. But you can't help but like him. His behavior towards women is frightening and abusive but that is his predator instincts and he is the bad boy of the group. He takes what he wants when he wants and how he wants. He does not care who he hurts in the process. They try to control him but it is totally useless. He is bound and determined that he will be the one to lay is seed in the Queen. But Russell the leader of the faction has other ideas.

Beau & Aubree

Aubree and Beau are becoming closer. Cole has explained to them what they are and why they feel that way toward on another.

Beau has a past and is starting to remember. But is his past going to come between him and Aubree?

I love how Beau and Aubree story is unfolding so in love with these two characters.

I am so in love with this series!!!

The male characters are domineering, protective and seriously ALPHA MALE!!!

Marata Eros has taken dark vampire erotica to a whole new level.

This series just keeps getting better and better. There is a lot of fight scenes and the author goes into great detail it is like you are there. The sex scenes are the same. Each installment is just amazingly written. You never know what is going to happen next. So looking forward to reading Plow!!

Bring it on!!!

There is more non consensual sex in the story but you have to understand you are reading a paranormal dark erotic vampire series. If you know anything about vampires then you know they can make humans do anything. Seriously this series is a must read!!!

Wow! SEED (The Druid Breeders Trilogy, #5) by Marata Eros, was a very entertaining, fast paced and engrossing read. All attempts to regulate myself confirmed my total lack of control.

I read the previous books in this series within two days and vacillated when faced with reading SOW (The Druid Breeders Trilogy, #4). The first trilogy (Reapers, Bled and Harvest) ended with a quasi-HEA that was destined to be short-lived. My dilemma was reading SOW and having to wait for SEED to be published. I just didn’t want to wait to find out what happened to our Druid women, their mates and protectors; I wanted instant gratification. Note my comment cited above regarding my ‘total lack of control’—I succumbed… I was now forced to wait.

The story is well written and flowed perfectly; there were no pacing issues. Although the history associated with the various species is explained to one of the characters, and in doing so, also educates first time readers, this installment should be read as part of the series.

I love that this author was not afraid to ‘end’ beloved characters while simultaneously creating another, who on the surface, appeared to be an enemy and yet displayed some qualities that indicated there was so much more to him, i.e., the possibility of a stronger and more formidable über male for the blended coven.

While I’m on the subject of the characters—Constantine… Gotta love him. He is who he is. =:-) I do love alpha males in all forms. >;-)

It’s great to see the other characters of the series involved with the current storyline and the different point-of-views expressed throughout the pages ensures the reader has a well rounded ‘bird’s-eye-view’ as the saga progresses.

This was another great addition to the Druid Breeders Series! Looking forward to Plow!

That was Awesome!!

This one is a Scorcher I think my brain is still sizzling!!! And so is my Kobo!

Okay so this was the next installment of the Druid Breeders series and it was worth the wait.

This series is really great its got lots of fast paced action, plenty of blood and mayham, heaps of twists and turns to make you nuts (in a good way), and some extra hot loving, with a pinch of romance here and there.

The male characters are domineering primative and protective (though this is their nature), the women are funny and strong willed despite their situation, and their witty retorts have you laughing out loud.

I absolutely hated Constantine, but loved his character also, he is an excellent addition to this story and in this series not all vampires are fluffy bunnies, his sadistic behaviour towards women is beyond frightening but as he is a predator his instincts and personality are a product of his nature, the typical Bad boy with the scariest bad traits.

Aubree and Beau are still a great pairing and I would love to see more of how their story progresses, the cliff hanger that ended on these two is beyond imagination and I cannot predict what will happen next.

Im so glad we still get a little cameo of past characters here and there. The death of an important character was unexpected but a worthy trade off to the story line which is delicious. Holly was finally given a back-bone no longer the simmpering fluffy queen Hilarious.

This series is getting better and better with each installment and I am constantly awed by the amazing unpredictability of both the story line and the characters. Marata Eros has an uncanny knack at not giving the readers what they want because she knows better she believes you deserve more and thats what she gives you.

So looking forward to the next installment bring on August and bring on Plow.

Did enjoy this series but has serious rape issues throughout all books. There are a lot of different types of vampires in this series that at times gets confusing.
The story takes awhile to develop throughout the 7 books but the ending was a bit lagging.
This book is very graphic and has A LOT of sexual abuse which at times does over take the books every other sentence is a female getting attacked and sexually abused.
Might look into the full length novel hopefully might clear up the ending

3.5 stars I'm just gonna write one review, because to me the way I read it, it was one book, went through them one after the other. I'm so happy that all the books were out or else I'm not sure if I would have been able to wait. I think after the first two I read, it all finally clicked, I got where the author was coming from and totally took the book and story for what it was worth. If you are unable to remove yourself from what is "socially correct" than this book is so not for you. As the author mentions: **This book is intended for an adult audience and contains marginal consent, multiple partners, forced breeding, vampire sex, and oral play.**

With that said, what made it 3.5 stars for me was that I was so drawn into their little world. I actually really liked this book, it was fast paced and entertaining, the sex was freakin HOT (m/f & f/m/m/m), there was some punishment scenes, sexual rituals but with the sex there was a story to follow.

In Harvest, Cole and Zach finally make their mates theirs and gain alliances. InSow, we meet Beau and Aubree and I fell in love with Beau, he was the most real to me. In Seed, we meet Kier of the faction and the Druid Priests, we lose a mate and gain another. In Plow we get introduced to the exotics and lastly in Thresher, the finale comes to an end, with a HEA epilogue.

. There are the spin off series that I’m putting on the TBR list, but I’m gonna take a break from this world and come back to it later.

If there were 1/2 stars I would give this book 4.5 stars (like the previous books in this series that was in actuality 1/2 a star higher). There were still very minor grammatical errors in this installment but really unnoticeable. It still bothers me that there are just so many things happening in this series but being that the books are so short- there's not enough time to cover it all. So I'm very excited to read the full length coming out on Halloween! Yay! There are the humans of course, then the Vamps, the Druids, the Rogues & now the Factions! Craziness! The style of writing, yet again, is so easy to read & as always action packed to the nth degree. Awesome!

I'm not a dark erotica reader & still struggling with that aspect of it all...but overall great book, but what a cliff hanger!

How is it that there is nothing but violence with the vampires and the Druids? How is it they these violent men think it's OK to rape and torment women? Whether they are humans or Druids? No matter what these women want they don't deserve this violence. I would NEVER being a child of any kind into this violence. They would be scraping my cold dead body up off the ground. My heart bleeds for these women! The humans and the Druids! Why aren't they revered and cherished and loved as they should be?

Loved it!!

The action packed scenes to the discovery of more breeds, vampire Druid, Faction So intriguing and edge of your seat excitement.

I loved there was more of Aubree and Beau and I cannot wait to read more!!! Definitely want more Rachel and Cole!!

Twists and turns throughout that just take the hard pace and heart pounding storyline to the maximum.

There are so many unanswered questions that I just cant wait to find the answers to in the next few installments.

I cannot wait to continue on with the next installment to the story.

I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobooks of this series.

Kier obeys his coven, retrieving the druid female Queen, and killing the druid/vampire that had mated her. However, it is not easy for him to leave her to his coven, as her essence calls to him, like no other.
Beau ends up having his memories restored to him, just in time to be reacquainted with his former comrades.

This is a review of the Druid Series Books 1-9, as if this was one book. The same review will be posted for all books in this series on my Goodreads profile. Spoiler free review! Star levels may change with the different books as some were more compelling than others. But all dependent on each other.
I LOVED this series. This is a pretty epic weaving of druids, vampires, Mers, etc. It is imperative, in my opinion, to read these back to back to back. Do. Not. Stop. Marata Eros has an incredible ability to paint a richly visual environment and give the reader tangible characters that you can attach to - for better or worse! To me, no matter the content or genre, if I can “see” what I’m reading, the author has gone above and beyond in creating a work of art. I became invested in the entire story, the complete lives and history that were being played out before me. This story is saturated with intense action, hot sex, mythical creatures, and a captivating history of another kind of existence. Even reading them in order, the timeline and characters can get a little confusing at times, but don’t give up, it’s worth it!
After reading the entire thing, it all comes into perspective. I loved trying to work it out along the way. I truly enjoyed the back and forth of characters, timeline, events, etc. I admit I wrote the author at one point to make sure I was reading things in the right order and wasn’t missing anything, but other than that, I really, really liked having to focus as much as I did to keep it all straight.
This is a pretty epic time line of events, characters and their history. It is important to read them in order. Things do seem to double back from time to time, and it is completely worth re-reading as you go along to make sure you have it straight! Not many series are worth that, again, in my opinion. This one was.

This series goes in my POS category.
I read this series as a single book. If I had read them as a series I would not have gone past the first "book." Some of the ideas of the way the vampire world works are interesting and I think could be made into a pretty good story. Unfortunately the author was more concerned about the stories erotica aspects and really dropped the ball on storyline or world building. Frankly I don't understand what the hell is going on these stories other than that apparently, the lack of sex makes these guys really aggressive and they are ready to basically end the world if they have to in order to obtain a hole to put it in.
The writing is bad and confusing, the characters don't actually have character, there is essentially no plot and each "book" or chapter (as I read it) is pretty repetitive.

This is book 5 in a 7 book series.

This book is where the series really starts to build to a strong set up for the climax, although the series isn't completed until two books later. Several new characters are introduced to take the characters through new twists and turns that lead to the same end goal.

HOT...HOT... HOT..

WOW!! The druid series seems to get better and better each book. I was shocked when 1 character was eliminated so quickly ( I though no, can't be dead). but that's ok because new characters are being introduced and I'm starting to connect with them and can't wait to learn more and find out what happens next. A must read.

I started reading these books not knowing that when it said romance it really meant sexual. The books are addicting! This author has a way with words that has my whole body begging for me to keep reading! I can't wait to read the next book!
