Would you risk your life for love?

Rose Clyde lost her girlfriend six months ago in a tragic accident. Since then, she simply goes through the motions, knowing she might be doomed to spend the rest of her life grieving. But when her best friend calls with a strange job offer—working the front desk of an old hotel up the Maine coastline—it’s an offer Rose can’t refuse. And a chance to restart her life.

But Rose isn’t prepared for Kane Sullivan, her new boss. This enigmatic, captivating woman, from their very first meeting, has Rose spellbound. There’s something about Kane that seems so familiar…why does Rose feel as if she’s seen this lovely, powerful woman before?

As the strange old Sullivan Hotel begins to reveal its dark secrets, Rose’s life hangs in the balance. But an even greater danger looms:

She’s falling in love with a vampire.

“Eternal Hotel” is the first novella in the Sullivan Vampire series, a beautiful, romantic epic that follows the clan of Sullivan vampires and the women who love them. Advance praise has hailed this hallmark series as “Twilight for women who love women” and “a lesbian romance that takes vampires seriously! Two thumbs up!” It is approximately 21,000 words long (several hours of reading or so).

This is like a sample, not a complete story. The characters aren’t developed - I’d say this is just setting the scene for the next book. I have to read the next one before I can even decide if I like it or not, honestly. It does succeed in making me curious about the next book, so 3 stars.

This could be a fun, light read, but for that it was... too short. Not that I expected more pages, I knew this is a novella, but I expected more on the pages- more action, character development. This felt like a first half of a tv pilot, not the whole episode.

I like the setting and the tone of this book, it's very well written albeit short. My only disappointment is the story ended way too quickly and without a date to know when's the next publication going to be!

I'd recommend this book, but if you're like me and prefer to read a series in one setting, then you may want to wait for the time being.

Ok!

Bridget has me hooked. This first instalment of the Sullivan Vampire books has definitely left me wanting more. She keeps you guessing but gives enough that you're growing found of the characters already. Well i'm off to read number two you read this one bet I'll meet you at the sequel.

This was a fun read, but I was really confused at how short it was. I thought for a second that I'd accidentally downloaded a sample or something! It's ridiculous. I'll read the next one, but I'm wary now.

Way too short but ok, it sets the background and atmosphere perfectly for the sequel. Can't wait to read the next 2 books in this trilogy.

Can't wait for the second book and my only complaint was it was too short before I knew it I was at the end. Can't wait to see what happens next with Kane and Rose.

Have to agree that the "book" was way too short and thus the flow felt rather rushed. Might read the next when I have an hour to kill.
