The story of The Magician and his revenge continues in book 2. The story as a whole is pretty melodramatic but at least the story telling and the plot twists are nice and the artwork is good.
The second story, Daydream is an improvement from the original short story written by Rampo, the manga-ka strengthened the storyline and thickened the murderer's motivation, and it works out nicely!
The third story: The Appearance of Osei keeps itself close to the original short story as well, and again the artwork makes it nice.
The last story The Man Who Travels With the Painting: I don't like how the manga-ka changed the details this time.
