Ryan and JB meet up with Abe and the Trader. He's clearly lost some of his mind, but the bulk of the book is them checking in Seattle for some reason and then traveling back to the others. Doc goes on Sabbatical to find himself. A couple come in with a nuke and die of rad sickness. The whole team still doesn't get together at the end.

Found it rather dull. I didn't manage to finish it. Maybe because I haven't read the previous ones.

I think I like the books that don't have redoubt switching in them more.

An average apocalyptic adventure story. This one takes a century after the last war and now there are mutants running around the earth. Recommended
