Indoctrination

Rate this book
A novel akin to Silence of the Lambs.

Dallas Russell is cop who is struggling with sanity and stability, but he has no time to heal his wounds. Murders, reminiscent of a past too close and too deadly, are occurring in South Beach, Miami and he’s the one to solve them. If it doesn’t kill him from within first.

The man Dallas fears most, the Father, resides within him, and all of us. A new breed of killer that uses your own weakness to carry out acts so heinous it is beyond human understanding.

The killer is within us all. The father breeds us for his bidding. Dallas has time and himself against him as he attempts to stop the Father’s deadliest creation.

We are only a breath away from indoctrination into a world of righteousness at the cost of others’ flesh.

A well-crafted psychological thriller capturing my attention from the first page. A compelling concept of a man who can sway the emotions and actions of others. The damage inflicted through mere contact with the Father was disturbing, yet the story continued to pull me in deeper. In the end it left me wanting more, just what a good story should do.

Could NOT put this one down ! I think it is a cousin once removed to Silence of The Lambs ! A "hold your breath , can't put it down , I should have been asleep long before now " good read ;-)

One question for you Mr. Harrison ...are you working on the next book ? I do believe I see a series in the making ;-) And um ...one suggestion ? If not ...get busy please !

Vruesome and good.

There may be a stretch to in the development of the main character get. And the violence against women is uncomfortable. Nevertheless the writing is good and character elements convincing. A promising first novel.
