La baja puntuación no es por la historia en sí, que trata sobre Reiko, la tía de Koichi, y su paso por la clase maldita; y de Ritsuko, hermana de esta y madre de Koichi y que sale de bebé; mostrándonos un poco más esta parte de la historia que se cuenta de pasada en Another. Tampoco tiene que ver con el OVA Another 0 y que trata sobre las gemelas Misaki y que no salen en la historia.
La baja puntuación es por la edición: un "panfleto" dividido en 2 páginas a color al comenzar, 42 de historia, 14 de bocetos y el resto de anuncios y cosas de la editorial a un precio de 6,95€. Dicen que viene con un cofre de "regalo" (que tampoco es para tirar cohetes), pero ellos mismo confirman que lo incluyen en el precio. Un despropósito de precio.

Such a short book. But my oh my how I love Another. Even though it was sooooo short, it felt like everything I needed right now and yaaaas. I am so happy that this exists <3 ;-;

This is a prequel of Another about the curse in Aunt Reiko's day. Basically it's all the same but we just see from her perspective. It's a good way to make the reader know and like her more. I thought it was really sad. You're free to read this anytime while you're reading Another. You can even read it before you read Another because it doesn't really spoil things. In fact, you'll probably feel the irony more if you do it that way.
It does make me wish there was prequel about how the curse started. It would have been more interesting. I would have liked to see Misaki myself. But oh well. I can't wait for more awesome works from this Mr. Yukito Ayatsuji!!! :)

I'm going to review this as a whole because I've read it back to back. It's been a while since I've read some manga, and it took me a moment to get used at how the action was narrated. But once I got used to it, I got into the story a lot. The art is also awesome and this was a fun read.

I absolutely loved Another (manga/anime, and still waiting for the novels to come out), and when I heard there was a prequel, I just had to read it.
This one was perfect, a bit short, but I felt it was good that way, everything was done, and said and we are back to the present again.
Poor Reiko, going through all that, knowing she probably indirectly killed her onee-chan and her friend (because of her being in that cursed 3rd grade).
I really loved seeing it from her point of view, I wish they had added this one to the Manga (as kind of extra story).
There is one thing I would love to see drawn/animated, and that is the story of how it all began. We heard the rumours, the tales, but what really happened years ago in that school.
Art is really fitting for this.
I would recommend this prequel to everyone who enjoyed Another, or to people who are looking for a good horror manga.

Admito que creí que este sería sobre las gemelas, ya que en mi edición salen ellas en la portada, pero se trata de la tía del protagonista. Fue bonito ver eso, pero sin más, tampoco fue súper intenso ni super interesante.

Me gustó, aunque siento que podría haberse encarado de otra manera y, así, explayado un poco más, abarcando toda la historia del año de Reiko.

"Another Ø" es un volumen extra que sirve como precuela al manga original.
La trama nos ubica instantes antes de que Kōichi Sakakibara regrese a Yomiyama para terminar sus estudios y nos muestra como Reiko Mikami recuerda sus primeros días en la clase 3-3 y el inicio de la "tragedia" ese año.
Esta precuela no agrega nada nuevo a la trama, y debido a que el OVA llamado "Another 0" se encuentra enfocado en las gemelas Misaki (Mei Misaki y Fuijoka Misaki) pensé que esta precuela igual, pero sin embargo nos centramos en los primeros días de escuela de Reiko Mikami (tía de Kōichi) y sus primeros encuentros con la tragedia, al igual que la muerte de su hermana: Ritsuko Mikami. La precuela de Another, centrada en la tía Reiko y en su paso por el aula 3 del tercer año. Me gustó mucho y me quedé con ganas de más; la verdad es que, si bien leí el manga varias veces, no me acordaba de qué se trataba este tomo y, entre el ova y la portada, me esperaba la historia de las gemelas. Así y todo, me gustó; creo que en esta relectura le tomé un poco más de cariño al personaje, lo que me llevó a disfrutarlo más. Me habría gustado quizás un tomo más completo, contando cómo fue el resto de su año hasta que, por fin, pudo graduarse, sobre todo siendo que hay personajes del manga principal que ya aparecen acá y que son re interesantes.

Fue interesante ver parte del pasado de Reiko, la tía de Koichi. Definitivamente me dió nostalgia y ganas de releer el manga o ver de nuevo el anime. A día de hoy me parece una historia muy buena la que crearon en ese universo así que espero que sea un anime y manga que sea recordar y visitado por fans por muchos años más.

Es interesante, corto la verdad, pero está muy bien ver el pasado, así podemos entender mejor las cosas que ocurrieron y que tienen repercusión en la historia original ( recomiendo leer la Ova despues de la historia original )

Es bien curioso como en tan poquitas páginas nos hablan de un inicio, me entretuvo de inicio a fin pero no es espectacular, creo que no importa si lo lees al principio o al fin solo es un contexto que incluso nos muestra un poco de lo que hay detrás de la calamidad

I felt I had to read this after reading Another. This little tale was unnecessary but I’m glad I read it because now I feel like I needn’t bother with the Another 0 novel. What’s the point? Another S, on the other hand…

Another: O is a prequel to Another: 1-4. It's an insight on what happened in Vol. 1-4. The vol is not as scary or creepy in comparison but it does give you an 'ohhhhh' factor. 🙈 I feel it's better to be read after reading vol. 1-4.

Corto y simple. Pensé que añadiría algo más a la trama, pero en si solo reafirman lo que antes solo se había mencionado de pasada.
