This is the story of how that boy became the man he is today: part-time singer, song-writer and jammer; full-time producer, cameraman and editor; Sherlock Holmes and Batman worshipper; staunch atheist with an innate fear of water and heights. This is the autobiography of the rudest man on Indian television.

Roadies is one show in India that people criticize a lot and still wait for its second season. I have found my parents scolding me for watching Roadies because of abuses and fighting but in the end, even they used to sit besides me and watch the auditions where a contestant was fiercely grilled by this bald, energetic, vibrant, abusive, rude and cool man called RAGHU. Everyone wants to know why is he abusive and aggressive. What was he before Roadies? What was he doing in one of the auditions of Indian Idol? What was his childhood with Rajiv, his twin brother, was? Who have been his favorite contestants from Roadies? Why does he prefer to stay bald than go for hair implantation? Why suddenly, in season 6, did he introduce Rajiv? What makes Rannvijay so special to him and Roadies? How did Roadies actually start? What was that political attack on him was? There are many such questions which you had in your minds but now it's time to get the answers to all of them in a book written by RAGHU himself- REARVIEW MY ROADIES JOURNEY.

SYNOPSIS:-

What is going on in the contestants mind? Does he admire me, respect me and hate me? Fear me? May be all of the above. I don't understand it. I don't understand the Roadies form that has F-k you Raghu, written all over it, I don't understand the poster that was held up this year during the Chandigarh auditions that read, Baap toh baap hota hai. Raghu Rox, I see equal parts respect, equal parts loathing. Equal parts Raghu, equal parts the bully. There is a man tall, bald, muscular, intimidating who manages to induce terror and awe in all those who dare walk into his interrogation room. There was once a boy scrawny, weak, easily intimidated, voice unbroken at fifteen, who was bullied consistently through his childhood. This is the story of how that boy became the man he is today: part-time singer, song-writer and jammer, full-time producer, camera man and editor. Sherlock Holmes and Batman worshipper, staunch atheist with an innate fear of water and heights. This is the autobiography of the rudest man on Indian television. Raghu Ram, the original Roadie, split wide open.

I have loved reading biographies and autobiographies. But did I ever think that I would get to read Raghu's life in such detailed manner? No. I didn't. Since I met him at Non Fiction Fest and had an amazing 10 minutes car ride with him, all my acquaintances keep asking me about how was his interaction with me. All want to know if he abused me or not. Haha! It was hard telling my friend that it was a Professional meet which was quite decent and straight. Well, that's how interesting his personality is. I loved the way he starts the book with Prologue- by telling his experience at Pune before audition on 31st October, 2012. After reading the whole book, I understood why he chose to start the book something that had to do with the city, Pune. Then he begins right from his and Rajiv's birth and tells how close the brothers were and still are. Later on, he shares how he is emotionally connected with Rannvijay and declares him his brother wholeheartedly.

He discusses his school life as well as college's when he was been physically abused and beaten by his seniors. He tells how his self-esteem got down to zero then. But what he learnt from those situations is what his life is all about. The amazing part about the book is when he starts describing his initial hard work and continuous efforts in the world of TV when he began just as a trainee. I loved reading how he was the one who used to do everything. It amused me how he used to stay awake and hungry for 7 days and 7 nights at stretch just to make sure that anything that he touched doesn't look any less than perfect. His growth right from the first season of Roadies till the end is also described wonderfully. I loved the part when he leaves Rohit on his face and frees himself from his clutches. Why he turned atheist and also his fury towards Indian education system is properly explained. His reaction towards the accident of Rannvijay, suicide attempt of Rajiv and then another accident of Rajiv tells how emotional he really is.

The moment when he left MTV and felt alone made me cry. Also his pain when he used to realize how the contestants hated him in spite of him being very protective of them was quite sympathizing. He doesn't hide in the book how he got opportunity because of being favorite of boss. He also discusses his differences with his boss, with the channel MTV, few arguments with Rajiv and others openly in the book. He tells how much he loves and likes Ayushmann, Bani, Mohit, Suchit, Rohit Batra and of course, Rannvijay. He also tells how much he hates Ashutosh and Avatar. He tells how it was a prank on the judges of Indian Idol that he did along with a friend of his but all it turned out was into him being over smart in front of the judges for the thing that he himself does. He discusses how he kind of forcibly made Sugandha marry him. Haha! The best part of reading this book has been his initial struggles, his love for Rannvijay and the journey of Roadies 8. After reading this book, you will realize how every season is the last one for him. You never know which is the last season of Roadies on television hence I would insist, watch Roadies XI with all your heart. :-)

Coming to the drawbacks- I always believed that Producers are those rich guys who have enough money to invest in crores on a movie or a television show. Raghu becomes producer of the show yet he says that he didn't have enough money. Quite confusing! Later on, in the book, he completely stops discussing about Rajiv, which I felt was unfair. When his story started with him, he should have told us about Rajiv's progress simultaneously. He doesn't discuss quite much about his parents too. Also, what we see on television is a tough guy with open mentality and good command of language. In the book, he doesn't discuss much about his working out sessions, how he turned out into someone who had an open-minded attitude and also doesn't tell how even after not completing his college, he speaks wonderfully and is presentable. There's lot of "I" thing in the book but then, that's Raghu Ram and only if you love him or Roadies, go for the book otherwise you will end up hating the man more than before. Haha! I would give book- 3.9/5. I hope I would be interviewing him very soon and sharing it with all of you here.

Thanks.

It was the 8th season of Roadies which turned out to be my first! I had obviously heard about it from some of my friends but never got a chance to sit and follow it. So was pleasantly surprised when I did manage to watch the 8th season right from the auditions. It epitomised the madness and passion which I could ever think of seeing/witnessing for anything in life. There were quite a few “nothing else to do so let us join the party” type too among the participants but most of them were real serious kind who wanted to get the much coveted “Roadies” stamp. To be honest, I was just swept away by the sheer energy which I saw in that season. And then we come to the guy who is like the poster boy of this entire commotion/storm: Raghu Ram. This book is like his diary which takes us through almost 30 years of his life which shows all the struggle, fights, hard work, determination, confidence, failure, arrogance, warmth, strength, sweat and blood which went into creating a show which caught the imagination of many in our country making it the most popular “reality TV” show ever in terms of TRP. This book is just like him- brutally honest and simple!

The synopsis of the book summarises it best:
“What is going on in the contestants mind? Raghu Ram, the original Roadie, split wide open”
And I will never agree more: just go for it 

Roadies is one of Indian reality show, which has caught the fancy of youth in north India in last 10 years. Raghu Ram has been synonymous with Roadies. I have watched the first season, there after I had lost interest and have watched an episode here or there.

Raghu Ram's autobiography devotes a major part of the book to Roadies, basically the book is about how I,Me & Myself who created Roadies.

Raghu talks about bullying, but his response to bullying is to bully. He claims to be bullied, but he never mentions why he did not mention it to his parents or teachers. He claims to respect women, but in the same book he says he found most female VJ's are good looking but not interesting (implied meaning dumb).

Raghu also claims how he tackled a sexual harassment case, and decided how one accused was innocent because he swore on his wife. Overall, I hope the book would throw a light on how TV was changed in last ten years, but all we get to see how Raghu single handedly saved and created a show.

The book highlights the journey of Raghuram from childhood till where he is now. The book makes you believe that however you feel that you are weak or some people or situations make you feel timid, you have the right to fight back the wrong, the evil and you can do it once you face it. Raghu was bullied in his childhood but as life passed he learnt to fight back and he also teaches the same to the youth. His attitude towards people is quite straightforward which many people don't like. He is clear what is right is right and what is wrong, he reacts strongly against it. That is why he is the bad guy for many people. But I really liked his attitude and the book is worth reading once.

The style of writing is simple and lucid. The way he has expressed his emotions, one could feel them. The narrative style is first person and the descriptions are personal as well as impersonal. The pictures in the middle of the book makes it lively. This book deserves appreciation and if you hate Raghu then surely read this book and I challenge you, that you will end up falling for him.

An interesting view of Raghu s life behind the camera of Roadies. The author has written the book well and keeps the reader engrossed till the end. By reading this book, we get to know a different side of Raghu and his trials and tribulations through his celebrity life. Would recommend it to all fans of Roadies.

The man behind one of the most popular youth reality shows of India, Roadies, has a story to tell. And you would wonder why. Roadies had a big following, especially during Raghu's days, when it aired on TV, but is it worth reading too? I may not have been interested to read this one, but somehow Raghu's face on the cover made me pause. A guy known for not holding anything back, for at times brutally honest, maybe his narrative on his life may infact have some interesting moments. And they indeed do.

Rearview: My Roadies Journey is Raghu's honest, and surprisingly decently written, take on his own life beginning from his birth upto the 10th season of Roadies when he finally called it quits. His early school days which he is not too fond of, his humble beginnings in the television industry, his ambition to work for MTV, his crazy ideas for Roadies, everything is encapsulated in this book. The book keeps moving forward with a good rhythm to it, never dwelling too much on a single episode. But this book would be more enjoyable for those who are better familiar with Roadies and have seen at least a few seasons. For a large section of the book is devoted to Raghu's time creating the various seasons of Roadies. Whatever may your feelings be about Raghu (and he does evoke a range of emotions among people), there is no denying his efforts and creativity in building a massive brand which still runs to this date. To get a better glimpse as to what all went in the background, this is the book to read!

True to his personality though, Raghu's writing feels arrogant at times, especially once we enter the Roadies chapters. There is a narcissistic touch to his tone, that may put some people off. But there are loads of other human emotions too, especially the love Raghu has for his twin brother, Rajiv, and his great friend and also co-host, Rannvijay, which keeps on echoing throughout the book. He has a lot of respect for his crew, but a simmering hatred for the corporate side of his business. His constant threats of resigning during his stint at MTV are a bit distracting, but do go with his image. There are times when you would wonder whether his writing style in this book is more to suit his rough-and-tough image, or the image in itself a true reflection of the man that he is. Many of you may not be interested in knowing more about his life or his take on different aspects of life, but those who are can pick up this autobiography with ease and get onboard for another adventurous journey with Raghu!

I was always intrigued by Raghu Ram of the Roadies fame. His ways were very harsh, but he always had a point to make. The only part of Roadies that I liked, other than Rannvijay, of course, were the auditions; on the contrary, Raghu despised them (I got to know this after reading the book). To know more about Raghu, Roadies, and how it all began, I decided to read Rearview: My Roadies Journey.
In his book, Raghu, as if sitting across from you and talking to you, describes his journey leading up to the tenth season of Roadies.
The book has a conversational quality; the way he talks is the way he writes. He keeps his readers hooked as he takes them through the ups and downs of his life, from the astrological prediction of his parents giving birth to two boys (Ram and Lakshman), his intimidating and painful years (quite literally as he was beaten every day) at school to somehow getting through college to learning to play guitar and even doing some gigs, his jobs and being without a job to Roadies, without which we wouldn't have known him.
What I like about the book is that it is a straightforward and honest take on his life without being preachy, where he is not trying to prove anything.
What I don’t like about the book is… nothing.
So, read the book to know…
-How did Raghu overcome bullying?
-How did he land a job at MTV?
-What did he do before joining MTV?
-About his journey from being an intern who brought chai/coffee for the seniors to becoming an indispensable part of the company he worked for. For that matter, he became an indispensable part of every company he worked for.
-How many days can he work without food and sleep?
-What was the underlying idea behind Roadies?
-What made him take on this persona of a harsh, rough guy? Mind you, it is his persona, not him (probably!).
-The asshole years (in his words) of his life.
You will also read about Rajiv, his twin brother; Rannvijay; and Kuhu, his wife.
And I repeat, he has an amazing writing style—simple, effective, and gripping.

RaghuRam a.k.a Raghu a.k.a Raghu Roadies

Introduction

Rearview of Raghu Life is actually rearview of Roadies only. Raghu tried hard to convey message and has done honesty with this book and his life in various point. This book start with a seen of audition where he trying to show that people are crazy for him. Yes !! They are crazy for him but dear Raghu, You exaggerated it in first chapter.

I am sure !! People love his personality but he also understand that his fan following is nothing in front of others. Okay, Lets dissect this book fairly with out any favor.

Roadies is the road show presented by MTV in production and direction under Mr. RaghuRam and later its become never ending season of "Games of Throne". Indian people like it cause it was first of its kind. People enjoy the tricks and ploy played by contestant in show. Indians youth population was getting attractive towards pop culture and such show promote this. Specially Youth Like it.

Dissection of Book

First chapter, start with an audition scenario, where Ranveer and Raghu cheer up people of Puna. People chanting their name like Mantras and these people acting like that they do not give a Fuck to these fans. Later things moved and Raghu-Ram flip back in his history.

Things moves with his story how he get a complex birth with his twins brother "Rajiv". early days of childhood and later their KG songs obsession. He tried hard but failed to portray the bullies situation in his life. I will say, writer has done tremendous work to make it interesting but seriously Raghu its nothing new and interesting . In India, Journal people get bully in any kind of form and there is not always solution of back off. some time people learn to live with that and worked hard that their next generation wouldn't face that. But in his case, he was lucky to having understanding parents and friends.

Raghu life change when he get Job in MTV as a trainee. he showed his will not because he like job cause there is no other option. (Raghu try hard to hide this thing but I know, he always wanted to be a Rawdey or a stud). he work hard, get recognition around him. Than he patch with a mentor name "Rahul Vaid" who was psycho like him and he tried hard to get detached from Rahul cause he was not letting him personal life. Serious observation, Raghu You are fucking doing same thing with Ran-vijay. Its reflect on your book. May be he is unable to say but stop considering him your kid or small brother. he is the men of his own destiny. Don't fuck his life for roadies. He has potential to do more movies rather than cheap one . Later in his book, he managed to get out from grab of Rahul vaid and directly landed to another mentor "Mr. chitanmani". He used him like Kejriwal used Anna Hazare to get into again in MTV.

From here he tried hard to make things different, he seriously worked for Roadies 1 and there he got his another puppy love Ran Vijay Singh >. Now, stories moves with his different experience with Roadies session and people. He seemed to pissed off with Ashutosh, who made his chutiya by his logic. . later at stage, Raghu has got sign midlife crises, he lose his work-life balance. his relationship with her wife, Kuhu gets ugly (I have pity for this girl who has faced this assholes for years and she is real sweet). Now after running here and there, Raghu identify his trend of narcissism and lock down him-self. But this time he get offer for two movies, specially TeesMar Kha where I think he get his status and glass of narcissism get broken. he back again for his only fame show Roadies and started his journey again.

Now get into the most ugly part of this book, which is quite offensive for me Somewhere in Book, he mentioned about Babri masjid and Gujrat roits, which is according to him become reason of leaving his religion , First of all Raghu, You don't know about dharma, Like I don't know about roadies . I seriously pissed off, when he simply targets Hindus for atrocities but Fuck You !! Where were you when more than 3.2 Lakh Kashmiri Pundit thrown out of valley, when 10,000 Sikh were get killed just to apply political cream to asses of Congress . He than suddenly, declare he is Buddhist, but in another page, he said he listen that Buddhist were saying ill to another religion so he left the Buddhism also with note that Buddhism is a philosophy which he follow, not religion. Ha Ha Ha, seriously all religion is philosophy not only Buddhism some are worse due to hard core eccentric believed of world dominant and some are nice when say " this world is one village".

What I like in This book

Most amazing part of this book itself Raghu transformation from a child who get abused from bullies to A men who made a brand out of him . Now, as you read above yes, I am pissed of his opinion of religion and others life. But what inspired me Most about Raghu personality is Honesty . I think this book is most honest account of his life and he has explained it very well.

When Raghu explain how young generation is changing attitude from traditional jobs to new kind of adventure job, I admire him. His idea about people of homosexual, his truthness about how Suraj cheated him. His agreedment to his rude attitude touch me somewhere. I am sure he is nice person and has done great in his life. One of his show remind me about a guy who transformed himself as a good person from asshole after getting beating from Raghu.

Well More Over, Raghu you Rock, Like your Roadies. So Inspired people around you

Final Word
This book is good for reading and learning how can a person change his life by hard work & how life can flip by luck if you have enough luck to be "RaghuRam".

The more I read about the media and entertainment industry, the more I resent it. In the words of the esteemed author, for the umpteenth time, something shifts in me.

This is a no holds barred account of something which defined a good part of a teenager's formative years in India. A good number of people talked about it. It was almost a mystery and a phenomenon shamefully enjoyed by many of us. I did too.

The narrative is simple, yet it works like a thriller novel and a definite page turner at that. However, it also feels like an oral retelling of a story.

Raghu contradicts himself many times throughout the book. He presents himself like a hero with fatal flaws in this underdog went big story. His relationship with money is one of the most hollow ones I've ever read.

The book is fun though. I had to get it out of my system.

I am a big enough fan that I bought this book when it actually came out. I remember abandoning it because "the language reads like a Facebook comment". I found it again while Diwali cleaning today and marked it for raddi. I started re-reading it because the current season of Bigg Boss is boring and it was within arms reach. I finished it fast *because* of, what I realize now, it's authentic language. I believe minimal editing was done on Ragu's words, which is basically the through line for this book, one guy fighting for his edit. Don't let the three star rating fool you, it's a good book and worth reading. The author's passion shines through, although some sections where he is gushing over his favorite people can be skipped.

Every Roadies fan should read this.

This books is more about how Raghu struggled to make the show. It is not about the show explicitly.

Raghu describes how each season was made and how much each season mattered to him. This book reveals a human side to Raghu. At the same time, it also shows an inhuman side of Raghu - he can work like a machine.

It also highlights all the mistakes and faults committed while making Roadies. It reveals how Roadies wasn't an ideal show - as the youth idealized this show.

It is the story of how this show was made by a human. Meaning that both the show and that human are flawed. And that's OK.

A must read for every Roadies fan.

The show gets a lot of shit for what it has become, and yes I agree it has lost its essence; I mean the moment bikes were switched out for cars and celebrity leaders. I was a fan (and have gotten a lot of scolding) and really curious behind the process. While I knew not all the footage would have been genuine, the creative process for such a show had to be different. Not only did I explore the world of Roadies, but the immense dedication this man has put behind making it what it is. I cannot imagine the amount of all-nighters it must have taken, the amount of injuries from failed task designs.

Here’s a book by the Executive Producer, Raghu Ram; of the famous MTV show “Roadies.” It’s a fast read for sure. It does not offer any deep insight into the person or the show. While it can be called as a reflection on his journey of 10 years with the show, the book appears like a diary and passé.

Prima Facie, the picture on the cover did not reflect Raghu Ram the way he comes across through the book. In the least, it appeared as if Raghu Ram has multiple faces. It would be interesting to google him and look at some of the images on Internet, he comes across as a smart, well presented anchor of a famous show. The cover does not reflect that at all. In fact, the cover is designed to create an impression. He does not even look intimidating as he probably did on few of the episodes of the show “Roadies.” After reading the book, Raghu Ram came across as this sensitive, caring individual with a façade of an over bearing person whose vocabulary is sprinkled with plenty of Fs. That too for the sake of an impact. Did he create any? Phew! I doubt.

The book narrates Raghu’s journey of almost 10 odd years with the hugely famous show “Roadies.” Well, I have seen some of the episodes of the show and never found it entertaining. Reality shows are like that, I feel. At times, they appeal and the other times, they simply fall flat on its face. Roadies was one such show. At times, it appeared to challenge the contestants in a constructive manner and at times, some of the tasks appeared overly dramatized for some strange reason.

Well, coming back to the book, the book almost appears as though these are pages from either his travelogue or from his diary. The book gives sequences and events one after the other. It absolutely does not offer any insight into a show that was hugely popular, commercially may be successful. It also does not offer any insights into what made this man the person he appeared on the show. I mean, occasionally it does talk about the deeper, inner thoughts that drive Raghu Ram but all that appears quite superficial.

There are pages where he gives some details about his struggle with the show in the initial stages, he does talk about his domestic life, he talks about his wife, he furnishes details about his brother, Rajiv but it comes across as if “He is holding something back.” The only piece that appealed to me all through the book are his passages about his relationship, the brotherhood and the camaraderie he has formed with his co-anchor Ranvijay. He comes across as truthful through those passages for sure.

The book has several pictures and also some poignant stories from the show. They would certainly appeal to you. There are passages where he talks about his feeling during his co-anchor’s accident, those passages come across as those written straight from the heart. They appear full of real emotions and feelings. I was left second guessing about his relationship with his brother Rajiv. The book is not quite conclusive about it the way it describes his relationship/friendship with Ranvijay. I also felt that he has high regard for his wife for she is the woman who has supported him through this journey. However, the book, while it does refer to her and the role she has played in his life, does not give her enough credit in writing.

While Raghu might have used the F word quite liberally during the show, I felt that it was absolutely unnecessary in the book. It does not create any impact whatsoever. In fact, it comes in the way of a fast paced and smooth reading. Was it really necessary to sprinkle it with the F word? Absolutely not.

Raghu’s language is not effortless at all. Is he a born writer? I do not think so. However, there is a different charm in reading a language full of colloquialism for sure. One thing that surprised me was his ability to work incessantly for days together. I cannot imagine someone working non-stop for seven days. I am sure it would have its impact on his health. You know, it would be interesting to meet the person, Raghu Ram without associating “Roadies” with him. It would be good to catch up with him about his journey and the nuances he might have picked up about himself, others and about life over the past decade.

Go read “Rearview; my roadies journey” if you simply want to kill time. The book is a fast read for sure. It does not offer any literary value, therefore, don’t look for it in the book.

I was interested to know the real person behind the rude face and yes it was interesting reading for someone who has been following Rodies. The book tells those part which we are unaware about and why exactly Raghu is like this. It was more like a journey of Roadies in form of words. Fair enough because the book also explains how smart he is as a person not to open his all cards. So it was a good read

Book starts with introducing how Raghu feels while creating this show and he himself doesn't know why he suddenly haves this adrenaline rush and gets super excited infront of people who are chanting his name.
And then book talks about his childhood & college days; how he was bullied by people and how fought back, how he started drinking, how he made decision to dropout, etc.,
And then book talks about his struggle days and days(nights) when he was working nonstop for 6-7 days(nights). How the concept of roadies was introduced and how its first two season was shot and why they were a disaster. And how a team is formed which helped him in changing the way roadies is perceived by people and how roadies 3 became turning point in history of roadies as well as raghu's life.
This book also covers details why raghu left MTV during season 7 and why he came back and what happened after that.
This book covers : his regrets, his achievements, his clarifications, his language, etc,.
I would recommend to everyone, whosoever has liked Roadies.

P.S:- Raghu as a person is very interesting. Some unknown facts about him : he makes sure he gets things done his way, otherwise he chooses to quit it altogether. And also when it comes to work, he wants to get things done, anyhow. No matter if he has to sacrifice his sleep or his image. So now, you know, Raghu wants Respect with Survival :D

Really nice autobiography by talented, rude and mysterious Raghu. It was a great read where he tries to tell who he really is. And yes he succeeds acknowledging his mistakes and also sharing some fun little secrets. Worth reading for sure.

People who don't read generally ask me my reasons for reading. Simply put I just love reading and so to that end I have made it my motto to just Keep on Reading. I love to read everything except for Self Help books but even those once in a while. I read almost all the genre but YA, Fantasy, Biographies are the most. My favorite series is, of course, Harry Potter but then there are many more books that I just adore. I have bookcases filled with books which are waiting to be read so can't stay and spend more time in this review, so remember I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

Conclusion 1 – Hard-working man doesn’t go home despite underwear emergencies.
Conclusion 2 – Hard-working man is a mad man.
- Philosophy of Bumpy, which Raghu appreciatively mentions in his autobiography Rearview

The book is peppered with humor, love, poignant memoirs, photos and honest confessions. He did not discount the fact that success and glory brought along with them the blight of arrogance, egoism, jealousy, conceit and turpitude. Read the full review here:

Raghu is known to be brutally honest, and rude television personality who minces no words. And now with this book we get an insight into his struggles, his highs and lows of life and his experience of making Roadies, one of the most popular show on Indian Television. From a boy scrawny, weak, easily intimidated, voice unbroken at fifteen, who was bullied consistently through his childhood, he has transformed into the badass rockstar of Indian TV. The transformation is worth taking a bow.

I don't even know why I read this book. I don't idolize this guy. I am not a fan.
The only two probable answers to why I bought the book in the first place are - 1. I like how he drills deep into the interviewee's mind during the PIs, 2. I was to travel for 24 hours, all on my own.

There were parts of the novel that I was not much interested in and just skimmed through and then there were those which actually force you to repeat the cliche 'nothing is impossible'. Raghu, through his hard work had carved a place for himself and inspired many.

His revelations about Roadies were fun to read!

This book turned out to be a very casual read and wasn't inspiring even one bit. I have been a fan of Roadies and have enjoyed all the seasons. Appreciate the hard work and effort which has gone into the making but wish Raghu was a little modest about his so called achievements. The narration was all the time very boastful. He should have let the reader decide whether he should be awed upon rather than him driving the point :'He should be Respected'. On a positive note, few anecdotes were interesting like the one where its decided why a bike would be the mode of travel rather than a car. For Raghu fans, it could be a must read but not for Roadies fans.

Brilliant

I remember when I first time saw an episode of Roadies 8, I was instantly hooked on the show.
I always thought why this guy shouts so much?
but back then I was just a kid so I didn't have sound knowledge of the world.

After so many years I got the answer of that question when I read this book and now I can say that it's not an easy task to be in that position.

The book is very nice.

Though I have seen good side and the bad side of Raghu, but only on my TV screen.
I don't know him personally but after reading this I can say it was one hell of a ride in the life of Mr Ram.

Highly recommended for everyone who loves the show

Description:as the title suggest its all about raghu his life his journey how roadies came n how hard he had worked in making what roadies is today.
In this book you will laugh feel oh shit and like yes he did it.the best part of it was there birth which was really a sweet chapter which from start to end u will laugh.then there is bond with ranvijay, rajiv and rest of the crew.i had to contiusly search people whose name have been mentioned from season 1 to date.
Downpart of the book is sometime you get bored of continues mentions of roadies this n roadies that.
Rest its an amazing read.
