Her most recent degree is Flavor Compounding at University of Missouri - St. Louis.
Deborah lives on the Gulf of Mexico and was very involved in the environmental impacts of the BP Oil spill. Always a volunteer for aviation canine rescue, Ringo, her Katrina dog can be seen with her in her authors photo.

Deborah Dolen's favorite book written by her is probably The Beekeeper's Digest. Why? "I love bees and everything about them. Their by-products make so many things - such as candles, foods, lotions, balms, and even medicinal products. My book covers all of that and then some. I came up with most of those formulas in London while filming at Apothecaries there.
Deborah can be found on Twitter where she has well over 100,000 followers. She loves Pinterest because it is like on big free ever-changing magazine and very helpful to inspire with other like minded people.
