Fighting the Feeling

Rate this book
When the person you want is not the person that you should have.....

Aubrey Washington, the mysterious middle brother, is the type that women love to become addicted to. He is serious, quiet, tall, dark and blessed with an innate ability to sexually please a woman for as long as she needs it. As love and relationships go, Aubrey has had a low rate of success, but eventually, even downward trends come to an end..

Callie is fresh out of a deceitful relationship with a man that she thought she would soon be marrying. To her, the best way to truly save her sanity is by leaving Detroit, Michigan for a fresh start in Dallas, Texas. She is trying to find a new focus and a new environment is the best thing for her.

For these two, it is lust at first sight--but there are complications and one big problem/person standing in their way.

Come read about this power couple and find out if "Fighting the Feeling" is really a losing battle.

This story features the some of the characters mentioned in "Valentine's Night" & "Heart of Stone" & "Squirm". The themes are interrelated and so it is suggested that you read those first to receive the full effect.

About the author

Trinity Wise

10 books21 followers
Trinity loved the art of writing from the time that she could pick up a pen and mimic her mother's cursive handwriting. At the tender age of 4, she developed a love for reading. From the love of reading emerged the love of writing.

During her teenage years, she immersed herself in romance novels and spent a lot of time expressing her emotions through poetry and prose.

Now as a mother, wife, teacher and author, writing is still a favorite pastime and form of self-expression. Though she is known for erotic fiction among peers, she loves to tackle other genres such as paranormal, horror, fiction, romance and adult-themed fiction. She loves to display her versatility and love for good writing, regardless of the subject.

She writes: "A good storyteller can make an audience love any genre." And that is her goal, to expand the minds, hearts and imaginations of her audience while allowing them to share in hers.

"My desire is not necessarily to be a master storyteller; I just want to tell a great story." ~Trinity

Watch out for the quiet ones like Aubrey

Aubrey is just as passionate a lover as his brothers. He lays it down to the women and they fall in love, but Aubrey isn't interested in a committed relationship. Once he comes across Callie all that changes. One simply cannot fight good ole chemistry and ultimately love.
