I received a free download of "Redemption (Secrets and Lies, #3), from the author in exchange for an honest review.I have read all of Joanne Clancy's book, including this last one in the trilogy of Secrets and Lies.What an amazing writer and such a moving novel.I have nothing but praise for her work.

This novel takes off where two wives are waiting desparately to review news that their husbands are alive, following a Tsunami in Japan.Hope is married to Niall, and is currently six months pregnant. Niall hasn't heard the great news that he is going to be a father.Kerry is married to Conor and has two children.The second book in the trilogy ends with the cliff hanger that Niall/Conor has been found.
Detective Isabel Murray advises Hope and Kerry they found a man resembling Conor/Niall, but he was found without any identification.He is currently being flown home from Japan and is expected to arrive in Cork, Ireland tomorrow morning and will then be transferred to Cork University Hospital.The tsunami had swept him into a building where he was trapped for several weeks. When they finally found him, he was dehydrated and suffering from pneumonia. He is currently in a medically induced coma, in ICU.
Terry had too warn her inlaws, about the other woman, Hope, before they went to the hospital.
Both women had identified "Him" as their husband. When Nurse Victoria Halliday was looking after her patient, he opened his eyes, but still in a coma.He could hear her talking, but couldn't make out the words.He remembers Hope and their life together. He should marry her? He didn't want to lose her.Hope talked nonstop to him,about their daily life in hopes of getting a reaction. It was like she was having conversations with a stranger. Then when she mentioned Kerry and his family, he opened his eyes.Hope decided to call Kerry and tell her to come in.
Both women go through stages of anger, contempt and shear exhaustion.After time the anger and contempt turns to acceptance and respect for each other.
This was an amazing novel to read. A definate 5 star rating.Please keep writing Joanne. You are an amazing writer.

Joanne Clancy's final book of the trilogy 'Secrets and Lies' was just as incredible as her first two.
'Redemption' had the unexpected happen that made me gasp aloud as I read. Without giving away too much, it is an incredible journey about two families and the horrific tragedy that occurred as they are on a vacation of a life time and how this tragedy intertwines their lives together. It is an eye-opener when one family member keeps a secret from the rest and the terrible consequenc4es that occur because of it. It is a fact of life that the simple truth from the beginning can save so many others from so much heartache and pain. The truth shall prevail.
Joanne Clancy is a masterful writer that draws you right into her story and I will continue to follow her work closely. This was yet another of her books where I sat down and began reading and did not stop reading until I read the very last line of the story. Fabulous!

The final book in the trilogy was a book of raw emotions for the characters. Writing at it best, once you started reading you did not want to put it down. The ending will surprise you. Excellent writing.

I whizzed through this book and had finished it before I knew it. Mainly because I was stuck in bed with a stinking cold and couldn't go to the party that I was meant to attend, so I was very grateful of the welcome distraction that this third and final installment in the Secrets and Lies trilogy brought along with it. And for me, the author had kept something up her sleeve since I thought I had it all worked out but I didn't and I really enjoyed the big reveal about the main secret that led to years of lies. But obviously, I won't spoil it here by telling tales and you'll just have to read it for yourself to find out what I mean. It was an emotional story that had me gripped from book 1 and carried me through on a wave (pun intended)of feeling for the two women involved, whose lives were changed forever when they'd discovered the very existence of each other because of their husbands both being caught up in the Japanese tsunami, along with all it's devastating consequences. I also found the ending to be very fitting and hopeful, even with the after effects that a scenario like this can have on a family which was handled with great dignity. And I'm really looking forward to finding out what Joanne Clancy is writing next, seeing as I do seem to connect with her characters so readily that I know it'll be well worth my time to get my hands on any future works by this great storyteller.

WOW!! what a final installment!! I don't know what else to say...
some of my early discounted scenarios popped up again here. those ones that were just too coincidental, or far easier to believe a simpler version of events... they come back around & you find yourself seriously questioning why you doubted your initial instincts. a great way to keep you guessing for as long as possible :)
I found myself getting quite annoyed at times with Hope and her dramatics, although she did eventually settle down & was able to form some kind of friendship with Kerry. just like Kerry, I also wanted to slap Beth for not speaking up sooner.
After previously getting quite a bit of info on Maura, I was disappointed by her absence in this book, but at the same time it didn't leave the story lacking.
Everyone got a relatively happy ending, which by no means was a Hollywood happily ever after. They all accepted the events they'd been dealt, and moved forward the best they could, always looking at the positives & improving the things that they could.
A brilliant up & down story right from the beginning, easy to read, & thoroughly enjoyable!!

The final book in the Secrets and Lies Trilogy was just as amazing as the first two books. The author continued with her ability to draw you into the book, and makes you want to read more until you find out what will happen.
This book opens with both Kerry and Hope’s dream come true, however they both realize that they are sharing the dream with each other instead of with who they wish they could be. During the course of the book, the women realize that they could be helping each other, instead of arguing. They help each other face the hardship that they are going through, and end up coming out stronger in the end.
Once again, there is a twist in this book, and it makes you wonder what is really going on in the books. However, this twist can be easily explained and it does become explained before the end of the book.
This book shows that no matter what, love will last through everything, even with the love of complete strangers, a person can pull through events they didn’t believe that they could.

Wow. What to say about this book. It's the third book in the trilogy, everything gets wrapped up, an a twist I did NOT see coming popped up out of no where about halfway through.
I thought I had this trilogy figured out by the end of the first book, well husband wise. Turns out that I didn't. I could not put this book down. I was excited to see how this series would end and am glad I read them all. Great story, sad at parts for what the ladies both have to go through but otherwise great. I'm ready to read more of Joanne's books!
