The methods presented in this book can easily be translated into any other book, but the added benefit of doing this with the Book of Mormon (or other scriptures) is that you teach your kids daily scripture study as well. The actual methods only take up a chapter of the book. The rest is about the program's development and the author as well as a bunch of flashcards you can cut out and use, so it's a super quick read.

This is a teach your child to read book using the Book of Mormon. Very solid book, I may add more after trying the method. The idea behind the book is that at the same time you teach your child to read, you help them become familiar with the scriptures, the scriptures are their first "reading laboratory".

Now to implement the techniques taught in the book.

A decent way to use the Book of Mormon to help teach letters, words, and numbers. It would be good to help instill a love of the scriptures at an early age. ^_^

I looked in the review section to see if anyone else had actually used the author's plan to teach reading the Book of Mormon, but didn't find any. She seemed to give useful tips and a very strategic plan, which I liked. I will have to try it out.

This is a really quick read. It sounds like it will be easy to teach my children how to read and get them used to reading thier scriptures daily. I will let you know how it really works.

It was a quick read. I bought it on an awesome sale, I just wish my kids were little again so I can use it. I will however have grand kids some day.
