Hola mis amigos. There are lot's of negative reviews regarding Rocket Languages and their programs. I personally have not tried their premium subscriptions but I do own some ebooks of theirs. This is one of the good ones for brushing up your spanish since it covers all that you might encounter in daily life. Also there are lots of tips and hints on learning spanish.
However I feel the need to highlight that this ebook might not be the best for absolute beginners. Yes, it does cover lots of basic phrases and conversations and vocabularies, but it does not start from very basic. Like the masculine nouns, feminine nouns, ser, estar, el, ella etc. Knowing a little bit of basic would definitely make the learning experience from this ebook entertaining as you are already quite familiar with some words and verbs. It wouldn't hurt either if you use this book while working on other resources.
I have come across some errors on Lesson 7. The use of accent correctly is very important even at a beginner level. All the "el" had missing accent which resulted in wrong translation and might confuse beginner learners. I hope this gets fixed.
Overall, I liked this book and definitely will refer to it now and then. ¡Salud!

It feels a little strange to say that I have finished reading this book as I am sure that I will refer to it many times in the future. I bought it as I was starting to study Spanish on Duolingo. It makes a nice adjunct with specific vocabulary lists useful to someone wanting basic communication skills which could be used on a vacation in a Spanish speaking country. It also includes tips on how to study. It is of course,also an ad to sell you on trying out the Rocket online classes. I can't speak to their quality but I have found this small book very helpful.

Loved this book. Had Spanish lessons a few years ago so it really jolted my memory to what I previously learned. Should really help with my integration into the Spanish society when I move there in a couple of months
