Yell it was a short read but Bratva by Imani Jay was a smexy as heck read and it checked off all the boxes that I LOVE reading these days as a back-to-back re-read!

I'm going to be that person. I'm going to moan that the novella was too short. Don't worry, I have a problem with myself for it too.🤦🏻♀️
So firstly, I enjoyed it and will definitely read more from the author. It's a good little quick read with a bit of spice. But, I don't think I actually got a feel for the characters or even understand how they fell in love other than he saw her in a room, insta love, boom. Everything was so quick. It was like a little snap shot of a story, and I just needed a little more to be able to feel it. I think every plot point was so quick that I didn't get any feelings. Maybe that was the issue for me. I'm so conflicted. 🤔
I'll definitely try out more from this author, though, and if you don't need anything too heavy, this is probably perfect.

Titillating and Hot
I loved this book. Dmitry claimed Ana, with just a single glance. No words were spoken. Ana had an amazing, instant connection right away, one of the two things that I didn't like was, how short it is, and the unresolved situation with Toni Rossini. Like Chris Rock said, "I don't condone violence, but I understand". I just wanted him to feel instant karma. Not that Dmitry was right for what he did, but Dmitry was letting him know, not to talk about his future wife like that. Put some respect on her name, and fat chick wasn't it. I would've gladly given this book 5-stars, had a baby been added to the story. Yes,I wholeheartedly recommend this book to any romance readers. HOT!!!!! 😍.

Sweet
OH my this is a first and what a delightful story! One that you will definitely find it enjoyable that has great characters with fantastic chemistry. There drama with interesting and thrilling romance! It will bring a smile to your face along with their humor which is so amazingly sweet to read. Even the secondary characters are captivating.There is one thing I wish for and that is more I didn't want it to end. But overall this is a fantastic short romance which gave me a pleasurable experience. Their relationship started in one night and how their love evolved is magical. But overall these types of drama are captivating but short.

He knew she was going to be his from the beginning. He was so mesmerized by her, he was willing to romance her. Something that he wasn't accustomed to doing. He didn't date, but since she was a nice girl, he would. And that first date, spun into more and that was all she wrote.
I would have liked to know what happened to the guy that shot him.
But I do enjoy the sexy Russian Mafia types... and so did Ana.

almost there
One of the better ones of this author’s short stories but this author really needs an editor, or an editor who can do the job. Numerous spelling mistakes and one in particular seems to be constant throughout all the short stories I’ve read so far. Author writes ‘fillings’ when it’s clear it should be ‘feelings!’
Get a decent editor and maybe develop the relationship between the characters a little more and this could have been a 4 star

My second time reading this one…
I can’t remember if I reviewed this book before, but I read it about a year and a half ago. I couldn’t remember everything that happened, only that I had fond memories of Dimitri and that handsome mug on the cover. He fell hard for his curvy girl at first sight and Ana fell hard for him, too. It was a quick read but it had some hot and passionate sex. If you want a fast read with a HEA, I highly recommend this one.

Dmitry watched Ana walk into his family's club and claimed her before he knew her name! He was willing to date and romance Ana something he wasn't used to doing, but Dmitry and Ana had instant and very intense chemistry. So, they never made it on their first date and ending up have a spicy wild night.
I enjoyed this book a lot my only complaint is that it was too short, even with the bonus chapter. I need a full-length book about Dmitry and Ana.

A teaser
The story gets straight to the point. For Anya and Dmytri it's love at first sight. The book ends on a pseudo cliffhanger so if you want to know what happens after they are married you need to read the next installment, which is what I plan to do. Great short read. I recommend it.

Loose Ends
Let me first say that I enjoyed this love story. Mitya and Ana were explosive together. However, what happened to Tony after he stabbed Mitya. Did they ever find him? Was there a war? How long did they what before the wedding. I understand that this is a short story, but I feel these questions could have been answered in the Epilogue.

May 21, 2024I’m not gonna actually rate this novella, but I enjoyed the short spicy read between a Pakhan who falls almost instantly in love with a girl and a girl who even though she’s unsure she likes him allows herself to fall for him just as easily.

Insta everything with love
Ana and Mitya, now their story is certainly an Insta everything very quick read It did keep me entertained. He was quite sweet (for a tough guy) and Ana was delightful. No cheating and an ending that wraps up their story well.

This book just got me out of my slump! I loved the plus sized representation and the fact that he carried her and didn't care about her weight. As a plus sized girly I love that. Didn't love the major skip at the end or the insta love but overall great book

I enjoy all of Imani's books. This is one of her "Bratva" books. She has so many its hard to pick a favorite! I like the instalove romances the best. When these men fall, they fall hard and fast. As shown in this book as they approach their HEA.
