Everything is written with absolute beginners in It keeps things simple, refrains from using technical jargon and explains by using a lot of examples. Did we mention that the examples are downloadable?

Unlike some other web development books, this book is created specifically for Kindle. It is not a conversion from a printed version, so it can take full advantage of what Kindle can do. When one topic refers to other topics discussed previously, they will be linked so you can jump to those topics, refresh your memory and jump back to continue what you were reading. You can run the examples right there using your Kindle browser without having to go to your computer. If you are reading the book using a computer, you can download the examples and run them on your own computer. You can then tweak, change and reuse the examples to suit your needs.

The book starts with the essentials aimed at absolute how to install the development environment and introduction to HTML and CSS. Readers with HTML and CSS experience can skip these lessons and proceed to the chapters on how to pass data between pages, how to process forms, working with arrays and performing logical operations. Lessons on how to use MySQL database come next, where readers will learn how to create a database, how to insert, update and delete data to make a web page more dynamic. The lessons on PHP then go further with topics on time and date, creating dynamic forms, user input validation and page forwarding. To make it more exciting, a little bit of JQuery is included to show how to make the web page more interactive using animation and dynamic styling. Finally, the book gives the readers pointers on getting a domain name, web host and the set up necessary to finally publish the web site for the whole world to see.
