An excellent introductory guide to Astral Projection. What I appreciate is the author doesn't try to go into areas that she isn't familiar with, especially scientific areas, even though science might have a lot to say about the subject.

Furthermore, she corroborates what Michael Newton writes about in his life between lives books concerning spirit guides.

Her chapters on lower vibrational entities resonated with me, especially with my experience encountering these beings after consuming psilocybin mushrooms.

Finally, she mentions practicing lucid dreaming as a way to prepare for astral projection -- something I have a lot of experience with, and I feel I am now on the right track to astrally project and will be prepared in the event of encountering lower vibrational "ookie spookies."

4 stars for this book for the easy read.
It’s not over theoretical and contains more personal experiences that was to me really the gem of the book. Who wants to read in depth about the methods when there are already so many books out there on it? What we don’t have enough are the detailed personal experiences from the pros.

For example, I really like Robert’s “Astral Dynamics”, I love reading about the chapter Astral Wildlife. It describes what u can expect out there. I believe an astral projection book will really sell if you include a whole arsenal of your detailed experiences, that is after going through the fundamentals of how to AP.

One star taken away, because I believe there could have been more personal accounts, and Erin didn’t really explain how she the demonic encounter started, which left me hanging and wondering.

Overall it was an easy read, and it felt like reading another one of her blog articles. It has a personal touch, sort of like a big sister you can count on, guiding you and showing you the way. I also like the checklist at the end, which makes for a really good summary.

Highly focused on the so called lower planes of astral projection. She describes entities, vampires, ookie spookies (?), the incubus and more of those negative creatures. The book is written from a very spiritual perspective - she will motivate you to astral project but at the same time make it very clear you need to be careful because you'll find negative entities and you need to protect yourself so be sure to call for your guides and the archangels. Visualise a bubble to protect yourself, ask an animal totem to protect you, kill the ookie spookies with your light sword. (?)

When I read her experiences, I sometimes had the feeling she simply described a lucid dream which started from a false awakening.

It's difficult to know the difference between a false awakening lucid dream and an astral projection. But if you had lucid dreams, astral projections, astral dreams and false awakening lucid dreams... after a while you can tell the difference. Not many writers discuss all 4, they simply mark their experiences as a lucid dream or an OBE... which might not always be the case and leaves me wondering if they had any of those other experiences at all and if so, did their research before writing a book. Things like blocked astral sight, split senses (like hearing from 2 locations at the same time) ethereal projection, the differences between lucid dreams/ AP dreams are not discussed in the book, the information is very basic.

She's a good writer, I was able to finish the book in only a few days and it was fun to read her experiences. It was simply a bit too spiritual for my taste.

Really thorough and interesting

Glad I read this book. Writing style flowed easily and it was intriguing. Going to do some immersion in astral travel meditations and set aside some time to try this more often.

Mile stone indicators on the journey of spirituality

As a seeker of knowledge and truth on the path of spirituality, there are several aspects which need an explanation or an understanding. Sometime, even though we have all the pieces of information, there would be one piece missing and that piece will make all the difference by fitting in. As a very strong believer of BOOKS CHOOSE YOU and NO YOU CHOOSING THE BOOK, I feel this book has answered some of the basic foundational aspects which one would require on their adventure of exploring and understanding certain aspects, one such being the astral travel. The take aways for me is that this book has helped me ancher my belief in the duality of existence the body and the soul and also helps me do meditation in a much of informed way. If you are in a position to understand what you do, especially during meditation, there is no chance of your mind wandering as your mind is very deeply entrenched in the belief of the self and each page has only made it deeper and deeper. A very very good read.

Ive been reading a lot of books on Astral Projection for a project of mine. This one is the clearest and most helpful. Ms Pavlina is an approachable writer and her personal stories of her experience are also quite riveting on their own!
