Many years ago, corporal punishment was common and accepted. Students who misbehaved could expect to feel the strap or cane on their bottoms. Criminals could be sentenced to corporal punishment. Parents routinely spanked their children for misbehavior.
Dr. Randolph Crawford has recently started his new job at the Public Health Department when he is asked by the administrator to attend the weekly corporal punishment sessions at the Judicial Center.
