From the award-winning author of The Beaumont Series, comes a sizzling novella about love, family and making every second count....
Brenna and Jabarie Beaumont have been happily married for nine years. She loves her husband and their five children, but between managing a bookstore and her family, Brenna is starting to feel forced to make a choice between the business she loves and quality time with their children.
As CEO of the Beaumont Corporations, Jabarie’s been busy dealing with problems of his own. The hotel has been hit with economic hardship and has little choice but to lay off ten percent of its staff. But in Sheraton Beach everyone is family, and the Beaumonts are determined to find another way.
With everything going on, Jabarie thinks what he and Brenna need is a vacation, but pulling Brenna away from the kids for an insatiable weekend is easier said than done. Jabarie is willing to use any means necessary to convince her. Unfortunately, getting away complicates matters in more ways than one. Is Brenna and Jabarie’s love strong enough to overcome all the obstacles thrown their way?

This book was so good! Now I remember why I love this couple so much! I’m happy they were able to solve their problems although it was tested! I’m happy about the outcome that took place! Great job to the author! Angie Daniels can write her tail off 😂🙌🏽
The ups and downs of motherhood wife and and a job. The key is a loving husband communication and realizing you can't be every thing without being good to yourself.
I love her books because she creates a new black wall street. Where there is plenty of black love and prosperity. Shows how together we rise. 💘 my people
BRIEF SUMMARY Brenna and Jabarie are happily married nine years. However, between their jobs and family, Jabarie plans a getaway with his wife.
THOUGHTS I remembered this series and I enjoyed the family. The books are, The Second Time Around, The Playboy's Proposition, The Player's Proposal, and For You I Do. Brenna and Jabarie's story continues from the book The Second Time Around. This book could stand alone, however, to a reader who isn't familiar with the series, you may feel unfulfilled about the story as it is a novella and fast paced. It is based on Brenna and Jabarie's story nine years later.
I thought the book was a sweet read. Their kids were adorable, you get to read familiar names from past books and read a peek into Jabarie and Brenna's life since their first book. In this novella, Jabarie's lack of alone time with, Brenna is starting to weigh on him as well as finding time to spend with his kids. Brenna is also debating her time with her kids and the bookstore. Their chemistry was still good to read, and I have to say, they might be married with five kids, but they still know how to get down.
Brenna & Jabarie (the couple from book 1 The Second Time Around) have been married nine years with five kids (the fabulous 5). She is the owner of the Cornerstone Book Store and he is the CEO of the Beaumont Hotel Corp. Brenna has been very overwhelmed with the business and taking care of her children and giving her husband the love an attention he needs, he has also has is problems with having to lay off some of their employees, nether knows of the other's problems, the love was very strong between them and the love scenes rocked he was a very good man, he takes his wife for a week end on the family yacht for a romantic getaway as family crisis happens In the end it makes them stronger as a family Jabarie was great. Another great story by Ms. Daniels. Happy Reading.
Brenna and Jabarie have always been one of my favorite couples and to revisit them as they embrace real life issues and still retain the love and sizzle that they have since the beginning, has been an enjoyable read. Angie Daniels has a way of making you love her characters and love her stories. Once again she has met my expectations, I picked this ebook up and I could not put it down. And as usually I eagerly anticipate what she will bring to us next.
This was a great way to catch up on old favorites, but too short to allow for all of the introductions of the new characters. Which I am certain will have their own feature book coming. I must enjoyed seeing how things turned out for Brenna and Jabarie. It was good to see that life was not just a bed of roses. Life has its ups and downs and we were able to see that aspect of there life as it continued onward.
This was a sweet continuation of the Beaumont series......Brenna and Jabrie love for each other and their children continues to shine.....this story tells us of some of the choices that has to be made by a husband and wife......the five children who were also known as The Fabulous Five was quit a handful and times quit stressful for Mommy and Daddy but through it all their love held them together and they learned to make every second count.,....
This was a good book. It portrayed what really happens between a couple after they have kids. Jabarie and Brenna are rich so, they don't have the same problems that most normal couples face, but I enjoyed reading their story.True love conquers all........ On to the next Beaumont book.
