The Christmas Answer

Rate this book
Despite outward appearances, life was not a fairytale for gospel singer Donna Dubois. Struggling with depression, loneliness, and uncertainty in her marriage, she reluctantly agrees to go on a holiday missionary trip to the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky.

During her stay, she is assigned to live with the widow Sara Cagle. Taking notice of Sara’s perseverance, Donna soon begins to relax and actually enjoy herself.

When misfortune strikes Sara, Donna is forced to reexamine her life, her marriage, and most importantly, her faith. Taking over for Sara, Donna soon discovers the one thing she had been missing all her life—The Christmas Answer.

The Christmas Answer is an inspirational story that will make you realize that God’s plan is always laid out, even when you seem distant from him.

None of us knows what the future holds, but what we want isn't necessarily part of God's plan. This story illustrates that point beautifully. Donna has to step out of her comfort zone to reach for the blessings that are in store for her. Enjoyable, inspiring, and recommended.

God's love

God always answers our prayers, maybe not in the way we are expecting. Mark and Donna wanted children so Gos provided children. Trust in the Lord in all areas of life and He will provide.

Short and Sweet

This is a good Christmas based story. It shows the way God works in our lives and we can't know how it's going to go. Very good short read.

Beautiful. Can It Be Believed?

Great book. Needs an ending, I don't like the cliffhanger ending, up to that point, it was great reading material.
