From a young age, I struggled to find the answers to what I think of are life's fundamental questions: Who am I? and Why am I alive? I found those answers for myself after much study and circumspection, culminating in strict fasting and meditation on top of Moak Mountain in South Korea more than 30 years ago.

What I discovered opened up a new life and a new world for me. Since then, I've sought to find ways to help others answer those questions for themselves, and live healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives as a result. All of my work is focused on developing methods for this and sharing them with as many people as possible. I believe when enough people know their true nature and purpose and are empowered to live by it, the world will become a place of dreams; heaven will be expressed on earth.

This is the purpose and content of all of my books. I hope they enrich your life by reading them.

I read this book 3 times. I do not normally want to read a book that many times but I really wanted to absorb the information into my brain so completely that I could actually be able to repeat it to people without having to refer to it. Here are the basics to understand consciousness. Ilchi Lee teaches us so precisely in this book the steps to unlock our hidden potential that sometimes lies dormant and is waiting to be awakened. And how we can use this information to not only transform ourselves but our families, communities and the earth. If you want to understand how our brain works with energy and understand consciousness, you must read this book!

This book is OK. It gives a variety of meditations and techniques to balance your chi. These practices have been used for centuries in Asia, and there's nothing new here, but the author makes it sound like they're breakthrough exercises. They are not. Sensationalism aside, the techniques work, as they always have.

This book completely changed the way that I interact with my own brain. I really have so much more awareness of when I am stuck in negativity, and the practical exercises and meditation tools help me to create a more positive outlook, even in challenging situations. I highly recommend this book to absolutely everyone who has any interest in self-development and improvement.

A powerful, clearly presented and highly informative text. I would never have read it if it wasn't a compulsory text on my yoga teacher training course, but I'm so glad I've been introduced to Dr. Ilchi Lee through this work. Such a simple read but packed with many layers of information. Transformative!
