I went through a bit of a reading slump so it didn’t actually take me 2 months to read this lol, just 2 sessions of reading ha. I grew up loving the CHERUB series in my teens, and even at 26 I still love this world, I probably always will. I didn’t know this book existed until recently actually, so it was nice to have some “new” content. I enjoyed these little short stories, glimpses into life on campus, and the character summary’s are the end were a fun bonus.
It was cool reading stories about side characters. I love Rat so that was obviously awesome. But reading about Callum and Connor was interesting as well - I'd like to see more of them. The little character profiles at the back were fascinating - particularly the birth names or how they came to be at Cherub - including details about Zara.
pretty easy read, obviously aimed at a younger audience - those that are already pretty familiar with the series. nothing special on its own, best read in the order of the series rather than on its own.
Although it was interesting to read some of the more minor characters stories this felt like a nothing book. This book didn't add anything to the series.
