The Russian's underground bunker is under attack. The Chinese space station has attack the American space station. The seacreft has ice in the tank. Who will survive? Great story.
I gave this series the old college try but I just could not stomach it. Started good but quickly became dark. Our govt goes secret , conniving, gutless then just evil. I don't know if the IRS or state gov of some kind scarred this guy but the us is the villain and not only the villain but a gullible villian. Good luck on 17 books, I skipped entire books and chapters and never lost the thread. Just terrible.
After quite some time away from the series I decided to try and continue. Kind of regretting that idea. Apparently I was halfway through when I put this book down. I started over. Ugh. 3 different locations mean 3 rotating plots. The characters are shallow and unlikeable. I get that an asteroid hitting earth and shady groups in charge of deciding who gets saved means that we’re not getting the nicest. That doesn’t mean I want to spend time with these jerks. Too many other books to read. I’ll try one more in the series to see if it gets any better or more believable.
The battle to survive continues in three separate stories involving the three Arcs, underwater, underground and in space. Familiar characters face adverse situations in interesting ways. The book continues to hold the readers interest as it explores human behavior under fire circumstances. Great series .
Number Nine in the Comet Clement series continues following the three arks, one in space, one deep below the Aral Mountains, and one underwater, as they struggle to maintain the human race. Each ark has changes in leadership and continuing challenges.
I’m sooooo rooting for these brave souls — wow — they are on such a journey!! I enjoyed how the 3 arks were represented in this book — a different ark each chapter; making it a non-stop thrill to read!
This book in the series was as good, or better than, as the rest that I've read so far. The author writes well making it easy to keep track of many different characters aboard 3 different arks. 2 of the 3 leaders are well respected and liked, while 1 is so awful I can easily see a mutiny occurring. This book covers 2 days to about a year after the initial comet strike. Highly recommend series.
