April Adams has spent almost as much time upside down as right side up. As a competitive gymnast she led her University of Alabama team to the top of the podium and although her sights were never on the Olympics, after a degree in creative writing , April went as a journalist to the London games. April loves hiking, baking and spending time with her family in Utah.
This series isn't getting better, with this 3rd book barely mentioning Sara- the most interesting character- but the story of the girls' first national competition was worth reading for the gymnastics descriptions. Grammar, typos, spelling continues to be a distraction. Was glad there is only one left.
This was an okay story, but I didn’t like it as much as the previous books in the series.
The characters in this continued to grow and I liked the new girl Raven. I felt sorry for her with the way her parents let her down so much, and I felt sorry for Nadia when she got her period. It can’t be easy to wear a leotard and do gymnastics whilst menstruating.
The storyline in this was good, and I liked that the girls went to Nationals. I really don’t want this series to end now, and I hope there will be more books in the future! 7 out of 10.
This Book was one the the best ones out the the series, one there are some problems that the characters face that are actually relatable when your in middle school. Like if you parents got divorce or if you have to move. Or even some girl issues. This book was clear and the author knew what she was talking about.
