With nearly a million book sales, USA Today bestselling author Hallee Bridgeman writes action-packed romantic suspense focusing on realistic characters who face real-world problems. Her work has been described as everything from refreshing to heart-stopping exciting and edgy.

An Army brat turned Floridian, Hallee and her husband finally settled in central Kentucky so they could enjoy the beautiful changing of the seasons. Hallee’s oldest daughter is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, her middle son struggles as a hexagonal “autism spectrum” peg in this round world, and her youngest son fills the house with wooshes and bangs as he fights imaginary bad guys while wearing a Spiderman costume and wielding a Ninja sword.

When she’s not penning novels, you will find her in the kitchen, which she considers the ‘heart of the home’. Her passion for cooking spurred her to launch a whole food, real food “Parody” cookbook series. In addition to nutritious, Biblically grounded recipes, readers will find that each cookbook also confronts some controversial aspect of secular pop culture.

Hallee has served as the Director of the Kentucky Christian Writers Conference, President of the Faith-Hope-Love chapter of the Romance Writers of America, is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW), and the American Christian Writers (ACW), and Novelists, Inc. An accomplished speaker, Hallee has taught and inspired writers around the globe, from Sydney, Australia, to Dallas, Texas, to Portland, Oregon, to Washington, D.C., and all places in between.

Hallee loves coffee, campy action movies, and regular date nights with her husband. Above all else, she loves God with all of her heart, soul, mind, and strength; has been redeemed by the blood of Christ; and relies on the presence of the Holy Spirit to guide her. She prays her work here on earth is a blessing to you and would love to hear from you. You can reach Hallee at hallee@halleebridgeman.com

REVIEW: A quick, easy to read, clean romance. Apparently this is a spin-off of other books from The Jewel series. I haven't read any of them but this book did fine as a stand alone. Feel like this could have been developed into a full length novel with additions to the plot line but as a novella it was good.

FAVORITE QUOTES:
"What could be more comforting than to know that you're in the place where God would have you right at the perfect time. I would --and do--find extreme comfort in that notion."

Christmas Diamond is a short, but very sweet peek back into the Viscolli family. We get to follow TJ, son of Tony and Robin, and see if he gets his happily ever after with a woman named Faith. He meets her in an unexpected way on the beach. I won’t say more, but I recommend that fans of Hallee Bridgeman’s Jewel series pick up this novella for free on Kindle or Nook, as well as at other ebook retailers. It is definitely not necessary to have read the Jewel Series in order to understand what is going on in this book. Christmas Diamond is also a creative introduction to an upcoming series that Hallee Bridgeman is working on, The Virtues and Valor Series. I am excited to read those upcoming books!

I haved loved every book in the Jewel series so far and this one is no different. I enjoyed meeting Tony and Robin's son as I did all the characters in each book. You don't have to read the other books to appreciate this one but you'll be missing out on some great stories if you don't. Anyway this was a sweet Christian Christmas time love story that had a part inspired by an actual event. That was interesting. Also, I thought it was a great way to introduce the Virtue and Valore series which I am looking forward to reading as well. I definitely recommend this novella and the other books in this series too.

This short Christmas story is about a British pilot coming to America for an airplane show. She trips as she is walking on the beach. What she trips on is a man who is water logged and she rescues him by reviving him. They fall in love. Cute story

Review:

"Christmas Diamond" by Hallee Bridgeman was one of this author's Jewel Trilogy series. This was a quick read that was truly amazing and wonderful Christmas read with a 'blend of suspense and romance.' Be prepared for a bit of history and seeing another generation from the series in this short novella.. I really like the portrayal of this business world presenting such good Christian people.

From the story we find "TJ Viscolli is from a wealthy Italian family, Faith Green is a pilot for vintage aircraft, her grandmother flew with the original female pilots in the war." With TJ studies of history being his specialty it wasn't a big surprise that he was happy to find the granddaughter who was one of the original pilots in his father's hotel here in Key West, Florida. So, it wasn't a big surprise how these two would hook up. As a matter of fact Faith had saved TJ's life. What had happen? Now, I don't want to give to much away so it is here that I will say you must pick up "Christmas Diamond" to see how this author will present it all to the reader. The characters are all very well developed and likable only helping make this such a wonderful awesome read.

This is my first glimpse into Hallee's writing and I am HOOKED! Christmas Diamond is everything a Christmas story should be. Romantic, cute, a side of adventure and pure heart from the author. There's nothing "cookie-cutter" about it and I LOVE that! I cannot wait to read more from Hallee.

Good, clean novella. I didn't connect as much with the main characters in this novella as I have in her other books, but I still enjoyed the book and getting to catch up with the Jewel Series family.

Christmas Diamond by Hallee Bridgemann
This book starts out with dedication page to the readers. Table of contents and listing of what's in Jewel series.
Story begins with Faith and she's in FL, all the way from England where she lives nearby her Grandmum. She's in a nursing home so Faith can continue her flying.
In FL she's to be part of a flying team that the team has flown before. She is walking along the beach when she notices children swimming in their pool and she stumbles over a body. She starts mouth to mouth on him til he is breathing on his own.
His family members meet TJ there and take him to the hospital. She learns a bit more about the family and who TJ is.
At an evening’s party she is introduced to him and she sits at the family table. They are the ones hosting the dinner and the whole flying show in the next days.
Love how the team perform, one of their best but there is an airplane accident.
Like how this one goes, the women involved in the war overseas and how the wings are handed down from generation to generation.
Great ending. There is a LOT of history in this story.
Translation phrases are explained. Inspired by real events of Virtues and Valor, Luncheon menu is included, with recipes. Discussion questions are included.
Personal note from the author. More jewel series synopsized at the end.
Excerpt from Christmas Star Sapphire is included. Author links and her works are listed at the end. Song of suspense are listed and summarized.

Spending Christmas on the Florida Keys is different, and pilot Faith Green is surprised to find that she misses London's cold rain as she bakes on the sand. She is here to fly a vintage plane in an air show, honoring the skillful piloting her Grandmother did during WWII with the Women's Auxiliary Air Force in England.

After literally tripping over a man washed up on the beach, and reviving him from his near-fatal windsurfing accident, she discovers that not only has his father sponsored the air show, but he knows a great deal about her Grandmother's exploits and missions. Turns out, he is a scholar of the mission.

That leads her to wonder if his interest in her is really to get to her aging grandmother. Only later will she discover that his family is so rich and prominent that outsiders will assume that is the source of her interest in him. Now they just need to convince each other, and themselves, that their mutual attraction is genuine.

This short story was fun because it tied in with the Virtues and Valor series that I really enjoyed. The parts about the plane and history were interesting. I wasn’t as interested in the romance. Thankfully, however, the romance was kept clean except for a couple kisses.
For some reason the story didn’t give me a Christmasy feeling like most Christmas books do that I read. So, even though this is set at Christmas time in Florida, I think I wouldn’t have minded reading it some other time during the year.

There were a few mentions of prayer.
Overall, I enjoyed it for the most part, but it wasn’t a favorite.

Not very Christmasy

An ok Novella. Not my favorite. A love story about a British pilot and a rich Italian. I think the author tried too hard to use British colloquialisms. As someone who lived there for 17 years and is married to a Brit they just stuck out. Also not very Christmasy in nature although it's set Christmas week. Sorry to be so hard just wish it was a little more fun for a Christmas read. Maybe you will like it though.

A well written novella about Faith Greene who flies the plane that her grandmother flew in WWII. A chance meeting with TJ Vitolli at his parent’s eastate in Florida leads to attraction and shared interests. A little romance, a little dangerous excitement and this is a satisfying Christmas beach read that makes me want to read more in the series. The story shows that rich and influential people can have faith in God and show it.
*I purchased this ebook from Amazon. All opinions are my own.*

This is a sweet, clean romance set at Christmastime. Romantic with a side of romance and a little danger. Faith Green and TJ Viscolli are great characters who meet when Faith flies from England to participate in an air show hosted by TJ's father. They meet in an unusual and unexpected way, and at first, Faith thinks he only wants to get to know her because of her famous grandmother. But TJ proves otherwise and there is a very nice happy ending. A short read.

A sweet, heartwarming novella about a British pilot, Faith, whose grandmother was a well known pilot during World War II who rescues an Italian historian, TJ, who has a special interest in her grandmother's life.
Faith rescues TJ after he is knocked on his head and she has to resuscitate him. Their connection and attraction is instant but Faith fears TJ is only interested in her because of her grandmother.
Both characters were likeable and this clean story was engaging. An enjoyable read.

The next generation of Viscolli men. Though not a business man like his dad, he has a heart like Tony. A heart that knows when he has found his “good thang”, even if they just met one hour or one day ago. Antonio Francis Viscolli Jr, aka TJ and his fly girl, pilot, Faith Green. She rescued him, and he found this female pilot to be his forever girl♥️

Sweet!

Sometimes when you are in a reading slump you need something sade and sweet to get you through. This was a re-read for me, but to see TJ grown up, and get a glimpse into the lived of the other members of the Viscolli family was just what I needed. It's hard leaving book friends behind and a visit is always refreshing.
