At this point I’m reading this for the Scheat/Cain BL subplot

I’m really like some of the things that have been setup in this volume. Mostly the arrival of Maximilian and seeing more of Cain, who after Liddy is my favorite.

I keep forgetting this is a reincarnation story and don’t really understand why it is. It has zero effect on the story overall.

This can become a 5 star series for me we just need to tone Freed’s caveman antics down several notches. I don’t find it sexy at all.

My big gripe with this volume and the 3 before it is the repetition. One character will say something and the next panel is another character saying the same thing. and I continue to hate the novelization bits at the back I don't know if it's just the translation but the word choice and the sentence structure, it's giving 8th grade English. I feel like this series could have used an editor.

I don't agree with making this a spin off situation because the story wasn't done when we moved forward with it.

This is an interesting continuation since we do pick up right at the end of the other series. I'll be picking these up when there are sales and not planning to preorder.

There may be some confusion if you pick up this part of the story before reading the original I'll Never Be Your Crowned Princess series, though we start off with a pretty good summary at the start to catch readers up to speed. We meet more of the royal family at the celebration in this volume and find some of them may be trouble as well as managing to illustrate some of the potential problems and risks associated with the royal bloodline that makes the royal flower so important. We inadvertently get another resounding endorsement for the prince's strength as well when Liddy learns Cain can't follow them into his room when he's with her. It's for the best given how flustered she was thinking he was watching earlier, but it could pose some risk, especially with more assassins lurking about. Seems trouble may be on its way to the castle.

I find this manga to be very enjoyable. It’s an easy read. I enjoy the political intrigue and the romance. The content is definitely explicit so i definitely would not recommend it to younger audiences.

I really enjoyed the first “trilogy” in this series, but I just wasn’t into this volume. The plot went no where and what did occur seemed pointless. I’ll continue the series if it gets deeply discounted or I can get it from the library, but I wouldn’t pay full price to see where this story goes.
