This is the final book in the Parallel Trilogy.

Trapped in a parallel universe where it is illegal to be overweight, sixteen-year-old Morgan Campbell is on the run with Billy Foster, the boy who helped her escape Camp Willowmoss, the Federally Assisted Thinning (F.A.T.) center where they were both held prisoner.

With nowhere to go, and no resources, they fear for their lives as they hide from the Enforcers who would capture them. Morgan has six weeks until the right date, at which time she can pass back through the portal that brought her to this world.

Will she be able to stay free until that date arrives, or will the Enforcers find her and lock her up, condemning her to live in this dangerous reality forever?

Yea! A wonderful conclusion (Or IS it the end?) To an awesome trilogy! I particularly enjoyed the fact that the ending was not all rose petals & unicorns. Or "it was all a bad dream!" Good job, Christine! I'll be keeping my eye out for the next one.

A great ending to the trilogy. It seemed kinda crazy at times but I like how the author expounded more on the characters. Though it wasn't the most well written trilogy I've read it definitely was enjoyable to read. It was very well imagined ... I've never read a story like it.

He's needed there, and she needs him, but wanting home. Story continues with AFTER Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

This was a good series! Definitely read them in order. The ending kinda shocked me with a few things thrown in there. It ended how I wanted and expected, but it still kept me on edge with everything the author threw in at the end. I was so glad Billy ended up in her world, and that she killed Hansen at the end. He shocked me when he showed up at the tunnel, but then again thinking back I figured it would happen. I am just glad he didn't capture Morgan and make her miss her chance to go back home.

Ms. Kersey has a real quick mine and is an excellent author to write this series. I enjoyed reading this series very much and recommend it to everyone. I read the series frist before it was revised. That was several years ago. I remembered the general outline, but not enough details to spoil reading it again.

I give this book five stars. I enjoyed the story so far in the first three series and I can't wait to read the next book. The story kept my attention the whole time. I've read many books from other authors and I must say, I enjoyed Christine Kersey's books the best.

Dare to Defy

This story really pulled me in. I'm an over weight person. The parallel world Morgan finds herself in is horrible.
The Federal Assisted Thinning is without a doubt a terrible place to get sent to.

Okay...I did get sucked into the parallel universe and after reading the first one for free...and it ended on a cliff-hanger, the second wasn't expensive so I got it to see where the story went, and by the time I got to the end of the second one I HAD to get this third one to see if she got home, to see if her other self got back, to see what happened to her family and her sister, and to see what happened to Billy.

A little wordy, so I skimmed some but at least I didn't want to throw it at a wall. Not world shaking but it was interesting and well thought out. So I enjoyed it even though it was wordy :-)

Slow in places, but overall, a pretty good series. It lacked the world building that a lot of dystopian fiction has but the foundation is there and hopefully with the next book we'll get more of it, from the Resistance side of things.

Another futuristic story with a female 16 yr old heroine. This time, she stumbles into a parallel universe where being fat is against the law. Hunger Games, Divergent, Pretties equivalent? Not hardly, but I do believe 13-15 yr old girls may enjoy the story.
