While I find everything introduced here terribly intriguing and the fight for power is entertaining, I could do very much without the creepy royal lad creeping on Esther. I want to see how all this plots are going to merge because I spend most of the volume confused by the sheer number of new characters. I think by making Esther say up and sending Abel down it’s an interesting change from the last plot.

I really like the story and it makes me feel like throwing a temper tantrum that it has come to such an abrupt halt. I know that the author of the series died but there are still three more volumes out there. At times like these I wish I could read Japanese. I at least would like to know what Brother Petros does with the Pope! I hate cliff hangers.
