Bible Book Facts for Fun! Old Testament

Rate this book
Bible Book Facts for Fun! is full of not-so-trivial questions about Bible characters, and events, and where the story is located in the Bible. Can you name the Old Testament book that tells the story of the three Hebrew men that survive a fiery furnace? What about the book that says there is a time for everything? Or the one that tells the story of an 8-year-old boy who became a king? The Bible is a major part of the Christian faith, and many members of the faith pride themselves on their knowledge of the many stories and books that make up the Bible. With the Bible Book Facts for Fun! Old Testament, you’ll be able to show your knowledge of Bible stories and characters to your friends and family. Because it’s presented in a fun game-like format, this book is the perfect addition to any church or social events for youth or adults. The book focuses on the Old Testament, which can be seen as a bit boring by some Bible readers, but the stories and characters that it presents show that the Old Testament is a volume of many fascinating stories. The way that the game is played is very simple. Every question is multiple choice and has three possible answers, and if a player gets the answer wrong, they get a second chance. On certain questions, hints and comments are provided to help the player along. With every correct answer, the player moves on to the next question.

This is a great way to test one's understanding of the Old Testament of the Bible.  The booklet offered the reader other chances, if a wrong choice was made -- and explained why that choice was wrong.  The author also gave the correct Bible location for the reader to get more info.

My only difficulty was that the book wasn't really set up for my iPad and part of the multiple-choice answers showed up on a different page.  This was really irritating.  Thus, I had to read the book on my desktop because the pages did not turn easily or offer all three choices on the same page.  Otherwise, it was a quick, interesting read.  The chapter and verse (to find more info) were offered right there with each question.
