Freebie book so I can't complain but that said it didn't make me rush to want to buy a sequel. Now you can look at it two ways. Either there's not much story OR you can take the view that it's short and that the author has therefore been economical in the use of words for anything away from the crux uf the book .... namely the sex scenes. I've seen less in a porn film.
If its your kind of thing then it's a decent light read if however you are looking for more of a lighter read with romance and a little filth then I would say its avoidable.
Alice is bored with school and decides to take a day off from class. She goes to the local port look for entertainment and sees one lonely yacht at the pier. She climbs on board thinking no one is home and dips into the pool. But when she goes downstairs to take a shower she comes to find out that the owner is aboard and she tries to make him think she is the maid. But he knows better and a sexual adventure begins for the two of them. But I’m sure this will not end here. I can’t wait to read the next part to see where they go after Cal offers Alice a job.
I find the concept of some erotic books very interesting. Some have depth, some have meaning and some are just pure SEX. Then there is pure fantasy! Enjoyment! An escape from the mundane! OR maybe, just maybe it’s a precursor to the evening ahead of you. I find people who read erotica who are looking for an intricate plot within the pages of a novelette or in vol1 of a book, very very very interesting. Don’t read it if you already know you are not going to like it. Don’t try to find something in the pages of a book that you already know will not interest you. I am off my soap box.
I needed to be on the soap box because this book was well written, but the circumstances that lead to Ana’s mini-vacation with Cal, the Billionaire, was farfetched. 9 times out of 10 you board a boat that you’re not supposed to be on and you’re shoved off nicely with an admonishment. But aside from that sex scenes were on point, I hate when you read an erotic fiction and the positions seem impossible.
Cal is the typical arrogant alpha male and Ana is not so innocent but yet she falls in love very easy. Interesting… This novelette does continue and I do plan on continuing. I am on the mission to find the perfect erotic fiction.
I do give close quarter a 3 ½ star rounded to 4 because it was well written and there isn’t half stars available here. You never know the next volume of this story maybe bring an #AwesomePlot to the kindle screen and redeem the 1 ½ stars! It’s on my TBR.
This one worked for me, and I was pleasantly surprised. It is short and quick to the smut, which works if you're looking for a short erotic romance. There are definitely some things missing or that just seemed off: Alice is a good girl seeking a thrill so she not only trespasses on the yacht but immediately gets naked and goes dominatrix on some un-assuming man? The man who turns out to be dominant himself has no problem switching for some unknown woman? She ends up being on his boat for over a week with no explanation of how this works with her life? There were also a couple of word choices that were big misses for me, but that's me being picky. None of these questions or issues made the story difficult to read and enjoy but (combined with the blurb for the second part of the serial) makes certain I won't continue the collection. That said, I will likely re-read this for the sex scenes, which worked for me.
Alice decides to leave college because she is tired of it. She knows her family is out somewhere enjoying the summer and she just all of a sudden decides to get on a boat. She enjoys herself until she see's two men coming on board. That is when she notices this man on the bed and decides to take matters into her own hands.
What she didn't know is that the man she thinks is part of the crew is really billionaire Cal Landon. She tells Cal what to do with her and they have a great time. He finally tells her who he is when she notices the boat is moving. She is taken on a great adventure that makes her find out more things about herself.
I really enjoyed reading this story and I thought when I reached the end that it was over. I was surprised when I found out that there is another story. It is now Alice's turn to have her house taken over. I can't wait to read the next book.
I didn't finish this book. It wasn't bad, just too erotic and really no story line. Just really detailed erotic moments. It's about a young girl who walks out of college hides on a yacht, finds a maid uniform and is found by the billionaire yacht owner who repeatedly wants her.
I do like how fast this book went straight to smutty in the first chapter, however it didn't give you much information about the main charter Alice. The book was a short easy read for the first book in the series but didn't leave me looking for the second book...
Looking for an escape from reality a young woman stows away only to find herself living a fantasy with a handsome billionaire. She finds out things about herself that she never realized were hidden under the surface. She enjoys 2 weeks of luxury filled with wild and wonderful adventures that some of wish for.
At first I thought I would not like the story but after the first chapter I was hooked. I was wowed by the fast pace and the dominance of Cal. I will be reading the next book soon.
For a free title, I can not in good conscious give this book a terrible rating. It's depth of story is incredibly lacking, but not obnoxious or obscene in the erotic sense.
Too much sex not enough romance. It’s a short story so I guess the author reserved the romance for the next chapters. The ending did open up a possibility of real romantic relationship between them. If you’re into “Domination” stories, this book is for you.
I read it all expecting a real story to emerge and it never did. When there did seem to be a possibility the edit on shut the book off. A sales ploy, at the expense of the reader.
Free book on Amazon and very short. Considering it was free, its hard to give it a bad or good review. It leaves you hanging to buy the sequel. Great selling strategy. There isn't much of a story line, because it is page after page of sex, sex, sex!
I will start out by saying I am glad that this book was free when I got it. The story was not bad but the author just sort of stopped writing leaving the story feeling unfinished. I am rating this 2 1/2 stars and I likely will not go looking for it's sequel.
I'm not even sure what the hell just happened. I mean really? His cum turned into a pearl necklace....literally! The only reason I'm giving this two stars is because I laughed so hard. There isn't one thing in this "book" that is believable.
I skipped most of the storyline just to get to the conversations. There are some unanswered questions that may have been found there. The sex scenes are detailed in the right amount. Nothing raunchy. Decent beginning to the storyline.
a little unrealistic for a woman to have sex with a billionaire after hiding on his boat with no real consequences. The story was filled with some decent scenes and made up for the fantasy that was this story.
