The accident left sixty-six year old Bob Peterson fighting for his life on an isolated farm lane. Crushed and left with broken ribs, a punctured lung, and compression fractures in his chest, spine, and pelvis, Bob pushed his arms forward, dug his fingers into the freezing mud and dragged his mostly paralyzed body forward. Saturated to the skin in freezing rain, far from help, and with the night fast approaching, Bob refused to give up.

This amazing true story was featured on the It's a Miracle series hosted by Richard Thomas. It aired on PAX Television as Chain Reaction in 1999.
Inspirational and moving, but I would've liked more on the medical aspect of Bob's recovery and less on the spiritual aspect of it. I skipped the super religious bit at the back, but otherwise, it was a nice read.
Inspiring story about one of your everyday miracles
I think I think people often forget that miracles are definitely a part of normal . Perhaps not everybody experiences miracles when they want to. I don't pretend to understand why some prayers create miracles and others seemingly to coldly pass one by. don't perhaps prayer is much stronger than anything else apparently scientists already proven them to be quite powerful. Power of the subconscious, or the power of persistent prayer.... especially by people of faith. I admire people who have learned to pray well. These people have a priceless gift to share. And they do share.... wanting nothing in return except peace on earth and to help their fellow man.
It was a very encouraging book. What I noticed was that it did not mention Mrs. Peterson too much in the book. It shows people that they need to have A lot of faith in their life. It’s nice to read books to see how God is working in peoples lives. I really like at the very end of the book Kathryn included Bible verses!
This is a miracle story about a man crushed by a 1500 lb bale of hay and survived after his grandson finds him on the way to a friend's house. With strength and determination this man gets up and walks again and helps film the story for television. Goes to show all that with God all things are possible.
It was riveting and totally moving in so many different ways. I felt like I was there with Bob and his family. One thing at a time one post at a time one step at a time......cause things take time and faith heals
A short book about retired engineer and farmer Robert Peterson, based on real events. A freak accident almost crushes him to death. The book describes the events as they happened. Bob has to fight for his life. Happy ending included.
