I Am Her, The Mistress
Meet Tyquasia “Ty” Roberts, born and raised in Miami, Florida. She lived in the Pork N Beans projects, one of the roughest neighborhoods in Miami. Contrary to what you may believe, Ty wasn’t your typical around the way girl. She was a good girl turned mistress when she finds out a sickening secret about her boyfriend of 3 years, Benzino, after he gets locked up. Benz is one of the top bosses in the drug game down south. The secret that comes to light that he’d hidden for so many years, could ruin his team's respect for him.
The revelations lead Ty to move and begin a new life in Atlanta, Georgia. There she meets the hottest party promoter/host known in the South, Nasir Cruz. The sexual attraction between the two is mutual. There’s only one little missing piece of information…Nasir is married to Lorraine Cruz, a fashion model who works so much that she’d become clueless to the problems in her marriage, but Lorraine won’t be clueless for long because Ty is about to let it all hang out. The evidence will be so direct and in her face that she’ll have no need to wonder anymore.
When Lorraine becomes fed up, she starts doing her own thing and devises a plan for some get-back, but as you know, everything doesn’t always go as planned. Friends become Foes, Benzino gets released from jail and some people aren’t who they say they are. There’s a bigger connection there than you may think. You'll be left with your mouth hanging wide open, shocked by who is who and what the original plan was from the beginning.

I finally got in a quite spot where I could finish I Am Her, The Mistress! All I have to say is BlaQue TheAuthoress you were right! Author Brown put everything she had in this one. I have to admit, I didn't see it coming. WOW!!! I loved the moral of the story! What nice twist, and such true words spoken. Well let me hush. I don't want to spoil it for all the other readers. Although I really want to!! Y'all have got to cop and read ASAP. Words can't explain how good this book is. My book club will definitely will he having a discussion this month! Congrats to you Author V Brown! You've birthed another masterpiece! This book is thebomb.com!!!! I rate it 5 plus stars easy! Hands down this is a winner!!!

Usually I do not read Urban Fiction, but I have a new respect for it. I thank V. Brown for waking up my sleeping brain on a Genre that has been around for a while.This book couldn't have twisted me anymore. It was great. Looking forward to more from her. This is the first of her books that I have read.

I thought this book was going to be like the ones before, but it wasn't. I really enjoyed this book, and I couldn't put it down until I was done. This book was well written with plenty of twists and turns.

Omg!! This was a very great book!!!
When I started reading this book I was hooked from the first page, the author gave you such a good story that had me wanting more! I didn't see the dramatic end coming, this novel left me saying WOW!!!

Once again V. Brown has put some stank on it. This is just another masterpiece written by a talent author. I started this book and loved it from the beginning. V. Brown to her time and told an awesome story. some of the things that took place were shocker and I couldn't believe was happening. Ty she was an interesting character and I enjoyed reading about her, however I would have never, never in a million years thought that this story would have ended this way. I just wanna say great great job Author V. Brown you did your thang once again. Thanks for keeping us entertained.

EXCELLENT!!!!!!!! This was an amazing read v brown did her thing khia was a jealous trifling friend but she didn't deserve to go out like that. Ty and Dom was a totally different story all i can say is trifling but i loved the book it was truly a page turner.

Soooooo good! I couldn’t put it down honestly. I had to know what happened next. I didn’t see the ending coming and that’s what I appreciate most. I never knew what was going to happen next. 10/10 would recommend!

This book is simply one of the best books I have read throughout my whole book collection. This book has so many good elements and will have you on the edge of your seat wondering what's going to happen next. Simply one of my favorite books out the G Street Chronicles series so far. 5/5 Great book!

Tyquasia ‘Ty’ Roberts is an inexperienced teenager that captures the attention of the neighborhood drug king, Benzino. He grooms Ty to play the role of wifey as long as she abides by his rules and allows him to be her everything. Circumstances arise and Benzino is snatched leaving Ty footloose, fancy free and the overseer of Benzino’s ill-gotten wealth. Upon discovering Benzino’s true career, Ty’s native nature takes on a new life with a more sinister edge and she leaves Benzino for dead, starting a new life far away. Nasir Cruz and his beautiful model wife, Lorraine are comfortable with their lives and lucrative careers. Jet setting, time spent together is getting to be few and far between, but love conquers all, or does it? Nasir meets the sexy and sassy Ty and is captivated with her personality and begins to question all that he has at home. Ty accepts the status of mistress with the perception that she’s the queen and it’s only a matter of time before her king gives her the royal kingdom. In spite of the nay sayers, and the negativity surrounding their relationship, she believes that she deserves center stage and any thing else needs to stand on the sidelines.
I Am Her, The Mistress is an engaging read that has an interesting flow that is smooth with just enough waves to keep the interest piqued and the pages turning. The romance was a bit fast paced and unrealistic but the element of surprise at the ending sealed it as a recommendable read. Lies, cheating, manipulation, betrayal, sexual perversion, jealousy and murder is a murky mixture for the life of a mistress. Noticeable editing errors were distracting...(pass for past). I never connected with any of the characters and there was no true originality in the storyline. Just your usual vain, selfish individuals doing what they do best...what ever feels good to them. 3.78

This book was a 5 star for real...this book had me going from the beginning to the end. Between Ty, Benzino, Nasir, and everyone else I just didn't know who to trust. I highly recommend this book. You will love it.

Very good read, this book had a lot of drama with a unexpected twist, when you thought u knew what was happening, u really had no idea, so many twist and turns. I would recommend this book.

I thought this book was going to be your typical mistress book, was I wrong. I thought this was a good read a page turner. I do recommend!
