After a year of lusting after his sexy employee, werewolf pack-leader Grant Kincaid broke his no-involvement-with-humans rule and made a move on Talia. A month later things between them are still red hot and everything is perfect. Or so he thought. When Talia announces she’s tired of being his last priority, Grant realizes he might lose the only woman he’s ever cared about. But if he admits that he’s not human he risks not only his heart, but the safety of his pack.

When somebody targets Ella, Asher moves quickly to get her under his roof and under his protection. Because this time, he’s not letting her go.
Author Each title can be purchased individually or as a box set. 75,000 words.
Savannah Stuart is the pseudonym of New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Katie Reus. Under this name she writes slightly hotter romance than her mainstream books. Her stories still have a touch of intrigue, suspense, or the paranormal and the one thing she always includes is a happy ending. She lives in the South with her very own real life hero. In addition to writing (and reading of course!) she loves traveling with her husband.
This collection has the first three novellas of the Crescent Moon series. These are erotica with thin plots about supernatural shifters. The first one isn't any good, but the second two aren't bad. Individual reviews below. 2.5 stars for the whole omnibus, rounded up to 3 because two out of three were enjoyable.
Taming the Alpha (Crescent Moon, #1)
Erotica with a tiny thin shred of plot that you'll be lucky to see. They pretty much exchange about five words and there's lots of talk about changing things but no actual change. Grant was annoying af, he keeps saying he wants things to change but he never bothers to actually talk to Talia and say hey, I really like you and want to take you out on a date. He just shows up for sex. And they literally can't get a word out before they jump one another. I didn't feel, see or get the chemistry between them. Talia was a doormat who wanted these things but barely manages to tell Grant and regardless, caves every time to his apparent overwhelming presence. I get authors are writing erotica but come on, if you can't even wait five minutes to manage a conversation it just seems ridiculous. If they know each other, it's all off screen and unmentioned. The reveal about Grant being a werewolf was kind of an after thought and one which Talia didn't even seem to register or care about. The supernatural in this story added absolutely nothing beyond hey, Grant is a werewolf and an alpha of his pack.
It's a novella, so it's short but the plot and the characters just don't work. I don't expect much from these sorts of reads, but I expect there to be a semblance of a plot, some likeable characters and nice swoonworthy romance.
Claiming His Mate (Crescent Moon, #2)
This was much better than the first book in the series. It had a plot. I didn't hate the characters. There's actually some character development in this one. I liked Lauren - she was feisty and outspoken. I liked that she felt guilty for attempting to steal the jewels and was willing to try to make it up to Max. Max was likeable and more or less a gentleman. The plot was interesting - even if completely obvious as to who the villain of such was, but it kept me entertained. Like the first book, this is erotica - so there's sex - but it doesn't overwhelm the plot so much as to not have one. The sex is entwined with the story, they jump into bed but they also manage to have a conversation, have dinner together and communicate more than five words. It's not a fantastic story, but it's decent. 3 stars.
Tempting His Mate (Crescent Moon, #3)
This wasn't anywhere near as bad as the first book in the series, but it's not as good as the second one either. It was alright. It was enjoyable for the most part. I liked Asher. Ella was okay - too weighed down in her insecurities for me to really like her. Nothing much happens in this book - except for some random plot where her office is trashed. I don't know - it didn't really add anything to the story and wasn't fleshed out enough to make sense anyway. 2.5 stars, rounded up to 3, because it was flirty and feel good even if not great.
Grant Kincaid the Alpha of a wolf pack lost his heart to a beautiful, strong and independent human named Talia......The moment Grant lead eyes on Talia his inner wolf wanted to mate with her, they started to date and had some obstacles but in the they fell on love and are stronger than ever.
Claiming His Mate!!!
Lauren Hayes a jaguar shifter decided to break into Grant's mansion to take back what Grant's father stole from Lauren's family over a century ago but she got caught by Grant's second in command, Max McCray.
Max always had a thing for Lauren since he first saw her so when the opportunity arises for him to get to spend some time with her and win her heart, he took it and asked her to spend 7 days with him as her "punishment".
Laurent couldn't deny her attraction for Max much longer and vice versa.....despite their new fondness, they had to fight for their future. They faced some ups and downs during those 7 days but everything worked out in the end with new alliances forged, love triumphed.
Tempting His Mate!!!
Ella Hayes had a one night stand with a sexy lone wolf named Asher Kincaid after their intense night of passion, Ella left Asher in the hotel room with the excuse of getting them breakfast but she never returned......Ella also left him a note.
Asher couldn't forget the beautiful night he spent with Ella and not wanting to be a lone wolf any longer, he joined his cousin Grant's pack not knowing that the woman who held his heart is there as well.
Ella tried to push Asher away but the latter wouln't let her not after finally finding a woman that he was willing to settle down with. Asher did everything in his power to win Ella's heart and he succeeded.
Three beautiful and wonderful stories....Fabulous job!
This box set includes three stories with separate couples from the same pack.
The first story revolves around Grant and Talia. Grant is the Alpha of his pack and owns some bars and a hotel. Talia is a human who works in one of his bars. They have an instant attraction but he tries to ignore his feelings because she's human. Lots of chemistry between them and a bit of drama made for a quick and interesting story.
The second story is about Max, Grant's second in command and Lauren a jaguar shifter. She "visits" the pack to take back something that had been stolen from her pride a long time ago. Max and Lauren have a strong attraction, but again fight it because of their different breeds. Some issues come up within the pack, but they can't fight their feelings. Another quick but riveting story.
The third book is about Asher and Ella. This was probably my least favourite. I liked the characters, but they weren't and their story wasn't as riveting. Asher had just joined his cousins pack after a long time as a loner. Ella, a jaguar shifter had left her pack after some family drama. A hook up to start with, turns into something more but these two don't really fight it. Some dramas within the pack were the focus of this story more than the couple, which lowered my enjoyment.
These stories weren't very original but they do tick a lot of my boxes when wanting to read something in this genre. All three males are dominant and all three females were smart, stubborn, headstrong and unafraid of showing a little sass.
I have read books by this author when she writes as Katie Reus, both I have enjoyed and I will definitely be reading more.
Relectura: Esta es una edición en la que se incluyen las tres primeras novelas cortas de esta serie. Las leí en su día por separado.
*16/05/24 Taming the Alpha⭐⭐2 estrellas Terminada la primera novela. Mantengo la puntuación original. De hecho, me ha costado bastante la relectura. No sé si sería mal momento o que de verdad me interesa tan poco como parece. *26/08/24 Claiming his Mate⭐⭐⭐3 estrellas *28/08/24 Tempting his Mate⭐⭐⭐3 estrellas He mantenido las mismas puntuaciones. No ha cambiado mi opinión con una segunda lectura.
A collection of three stories involving 3 alpha males of the Gulf Shores Alabama wolf pack. Each story involved one male and his search for his mate. I enjoyed each and every one, enjoyed that they were all together and easy to go from one to the next. Great bundle!
got this because I liked the teaser I found of the second book in this series in the back of another book. glad I bought it. this was a quick and delightful read just kind of wished that the series was finished so I could have read them all at once.
Book one was just so-so but I really enjoyed book 2 and 3. It had me interested from start to finish. Great plot, great character building, great characters and well written.
