About the author

Nancy Ganz has spent the last twenty years in her native land of Canada, helping her husband, Dr. Richard Ganz, in church-planting work and home-schooling their four daughters. She received her formal theological training from the University of Toronto prior to her conversion to Christ at L'Abri in the Netherlands. However, it has been the many years of Bible study since that time which has produced her Herein is Love commentaries on the Old Testament. Currently, most of her time is spent studying the Scriptures, writing various books, and taking long walks along the country roads and woodland paths near her home.

If the people who attempt to read through the Bible had access to this book when they got to Leviticus, they'd be much more motivated to keep reading! This is a commentary for children, which means it is accessible, but it is by no means dumbed-down. Ganz covers the puzzling parts of the Mosaic law (sacrifices, clean/unclean rules, the holidays) and explains how they point to Christ's fulfillment. She goes through the 10 Commandments and shows how they are established in the New Testament. This is an excellent resource for Bible students of all ages.

This 100-page, 11-lesson commentary for children was pulled down off my shelves when Mr. Dedachi began his current sermon series on Leviticus. As the back cover says, "biblical theology, doctrinally sure-footed, warmly devotional." One in a series.
