Loved It!!!

I am so glad I picked up this series! I love darker stories and bc of that, I sometimes overlook gems like this. This book has it all... Its a survival story with love and laughter. It had lots of sexy moments but sad ones too. You definitely don't want to miss it.

The author is fairly new to writing (although you can't tell) but I will read anything she puts out in the future!

What else to do on an island after living conditions have been set up? Sex. The first three chapters in were all sex with more sex sprinkled throughout. Followed by pregnancy, the urgency added to get off the island. Throw in time skips for christmas and pregnancy progression.

I knew Harvey would be back. I was surprised Brooke hadn't popped up. No Action Jackson to the rescue. What I didn't believe was Harvey going from his Brooke and my baby delusion, knife point kidnapping to a selfless shark sacrifice to protect them. Not happening, don't see it. I guess it was the only way they were getting rid of him, since the guys couldn't kill him and there was no way he was going back to their camp. He would've gone feral as soon as one of the others touched her.

I liked that they did get rescued and that Kay didn't suffer any losses. Shame about the grandmother, but Rex did find out the truth in the end. More shitty parents. I didn't buy the whole Brooke thing living for Daisy either, or the story they created. They might've looked identical, but surely malnutrition showed marks, sunburn, tans, the fact that one baby was older than the other and the doctors had checked them over. I dunno.

I read this one to find out what the big crime was that forced Daisy to take Brooke's place. No one mentioned it until the end, and even then it was just used as a last joke. Mostly light and fluffy, with pregnancy and kidnapping peril thrown in. No relationship drama, except Rex making up his mind.

"Totally Shipped" is the second and final book in the "On the Island" duet. With most of the relationships between Daisy and her men established, and loads of time to spend, there is plenty of spice involved in this second book. As a harem member Rex might need a bit more time to get on board, but once he is I absolutely loved his declaration of love.

Writing a review for this book without giving away any spoilers is very hard... There is a lot I want to point out, but I can't find any way to write it down without getting spoilery. All I can say, is that I really loved where this story ultimately went, and everything that happens before these characters can finally find their HEA. I absolutely adore some of these characters: Leander, Killian, Keyara, ... In a way it is sad to say goodbye to them, but with Leander's brother getting his own story in the future, I hope we'll see them again as side characters!

great second half

This was better than the first. I guess I was a bit impatient with Rex lol
Not his fault, he had to get his head out of his butt
Didn’t see the ending of Harvey coming. The reunion between the sisters was shocking too

Together? We are just right 🥰

This book picks up a few weeks, maybe a couple of months, after the end of the 1st book. We see how our island group has started building as much of a home as they can, and we pick right up with seeing Daisy and her guys sharing the love 🥰❤️‍🔥🔥
What about Rex though? Oh my poor poor Rex. This man just tore my heart out. His inner struggle was heartbreaking, but watching him come alive (thank you Daisy) was the sweetest, best thing ever. It sucked how everything had to happen so that he could finally let go of his past, but sometimes it takes a big push 🥺 Then we have he who shall not be named, who made things way more dramatic than they needed to be, but then again, why am I not surprised 🙄 Definitely made for some exciting chapters though 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 The best part of this book though was simply the amazing characters. I love how, no matter how much work they put into making the island a home, they always held onto hope (some days more than others) that they’d be rescued. I love the family they all created, and how they were always thinking of ways to continue that family in the “real” world. They were all so broken in their own ways, and they helped fill in the broken spaces with each other’s love. Is that love enough though once the real world comes crashing back into their lives? Staying together was a necessity on the island, but does being rescued mean they’ll be able to stay together forever like they had planned during the long hard days of survival? If you loved the 1st book (and obviously you did, cause you’re checking the 2nd one out 😉), then you’re going to love seeing what our castaways are up to now (as well as getting answers to questions left unanswered from the 1st book…..I’m looking at you Daisy 👀). Watch the new and unexpected struggles and trials that they find themselves dealing with 🥴🤢🌪️⛈️💨 Then read all the way to the end to see what the future ends up looking like for our favorite group of island survivors 🏝️🌊🌺🌸

A good conclusion to the story. Not as good, imo, as the first book, but still deserves more than 3 stars.

I think the issue was that there was a lot going on in this book. The pacing was good for how much was crammed into it, but it also felt like things were sometimes glossed over too quickly. It would have been nice to slow down a bit and expand on some of the stuff.

Especially concerning Rex and Daisy. It was obvious that that relationship was trying to be built up all last book, but it still took over 50% of this one for them to get together. And when they finally did, it was kind of an afterthought.

Lots of spice in the beginning, but it eventually petered off a little. Personally, I wish the spice had been more evenly distributed, at least amongst the guys. It felt like Gray really stole the show, and Leander (and definitely Rex) were forgotten about. :(

Also, not a single DP scene? In a MMFMM situation? Not even at the end? Ma'am

Overall, despite those complaints, I still really enjoyed this. It was still action-packed and riveting. Still high survival vibes, which is what I was wanting. The ending is sweet--loved how they handled their relationship with their loved ones.

Happy I read it!

I still really enjoy the concept of the plot and a lot of the execution.

One of the issues I had with this book was the Harry Potter references. It was multiple times throughout. This was especially irritating because it came across as hypocritical when in book 1 a character was claiming to care about trans people but not enough apparently to not go on about a transphobic author repeatedly.

Another issue I had is there is a sex scene where one of the guys puts lotion on his hand and then massages her genitals with it. This would have caused a burning sensation, not an orgasm.

Finally, I didn’t enjoy Harvey’s plotline. I don’t enjoy characters being praised when they did something horrible and unforgivable. Like the thought of the sister having a whole thing in honor of the man who sexually assaulted her sister is so fucked. And I did think some of the twin swap stuff wasn’t something I could suspend disbelief on. Birth certificates are a thing and twin swapping babies would not work.

All of that really impacted my enjoyment of what was otherwise a pretty great story.

‘Totally Shipped’ by Nicky Shivers is the 2nd book of this RH, forced proximity duet. She did a phenomenal job of capturing the emotions, the physical, and the psychological effects of being stranded on a deserted island with no access to the basic needs. Daisy, Key, Rex, Leander, Gray, and Killian must work hard daily to survive and it wears on their health: Key is only 9yrs old and she presents even more responsibilities for the adults.

I love the relationship between Daisy and Leander, Killian, and Gray: so loving and supportive. Rex continues to watch them and feel unworthy, but longs for the connection. Their time on the island is difficult: several health issues, a demented fellow castaway, and being rescued brings new issues. Parents, siblings, and friends all have needs, want explanations, and some are just too much. I loved the ending: one huge family!.

Daisy and Brooke are identical twins, but so different. Brooke is the all star athlete and Daisy wants to be a librarian. They switch places for an upcoming reality show but on the way to the destination, their plane goes down and the survivors end up on an island for a year. Daisy and 9 year old Keyara, along with Leander, Killian, Gray and Rex survive, while Harvey does not. The characters are terrific with varied personalities and abilities, strengths and weaknesses. The storyline is a roller coaster ride of drama, danger, a cyclone, babies, a vivid island, a strong bond between them all and a fantastic return to the states. A lot of lies are dissolved toward the end and the right people become a great new family.

The duet is pretty good and I really enjoyed the plot + spice. It does need edits (more in the first than the second) but most of the errors were easy to ignore when the plot was super good - ie. there was an error where it said ‘ways’ instead of ‘weighs’, there were paragraph issues and missing quotations. I loved the mention of Castaway because this is exactly what it reminded me of - in reverse harem style - and honestly made it much easier to picture what they were going through. The duet does have MM so if that’s something you avoid, just a heads up. Otherwise I highly recommend giving this new author a try. ☺️

Aaah... It's over! (Sad much!!!).

Cant believe you made us wait to the end before revealing what the big thing was why she owed her sister! I almost thought you forgot to let us know.

I was glad how everything wrapped up. It was such an adventure!

Can't wait to read more books from the author! The balance was perfect between story line and smexy times (considering each MC needs time with the FC and then we need to have some group activity.)

Well done with a story that takes you on an wild adventure!

First off if you have not read Totally Wrecked then stop now and go read that first. It was amazing!

I love stranded books however you rarely see them, especially in a reverse harem. So when this series came out I was on it. This was a seriously amazing duet.

I loved that we got to see what island surviving was like without it being unrealistic. It really kept me invested. loved Daisy and her men. I wished there was more to the evil man but I still loved it.

Highly recommend it!.

Continue to fight for survival with Daisy, her men, and Key on a deserted island out in the middle of the ocean. We get to see this team of survivors go through such hardships and such love. To find such a love in this situation is so remarkable and make you feel all the feels.
N.S. brought a new type of 'disaster' troupe to the table and hope to see more from her.
This was such a blast to read and I felt the same emotions that everyone is going through.

This is the 2nd book in this duet. This group of people are still stranded on a deserted island as book two begins. I loved how Nicky Shivers really tried to help us picture and feel their desperation. Being without creature comforts, and the physical toll on your body living on an island caused. Daisy, Key, Rex, Leander, Gray, and Killian must work together to survive and its difficult. This book had me captivated. I truly enjoyed it.

The Best Happily Ever One Could Hope For

Daisy is pregnant - oops - and surviving on the island is getting harder and harder. Lea, Grey, Rex, Killian and Key are hanging on, but the winter wet season is coming, and danger is lurking. They’re happy, but can they stay safe? This book brought all the feels - tension, happiness, sorrow, joy - and an absolutely beautiful happily ever after. This duet was a delight to read.

Wow what a roller-coaster ride this was. I laughed, I cried and I cringed. But it was so worth it to follow along with Daisy and her men. I would have loved to know if Daisy ever told Brooke the truth about Harvey. But I was really pleased with the ending.

So the duet finished with all the plot tied up. However, to get there it had some really unbelievable moments. Felt like 2 of the characters had personality swaps during the book. Apart from that some great suspense, hot scenes, difficult family relationships. All in all quite enjoyable.
