This was a very engrossing book. I got sucked in from page one with the intricate descriptions of Aneesa in her Indian wedding finery. And when Aneesa and Sebastian meet face to face. Wow! The chemistry between Aneesa and Sebastian is electric, like a taut band that will always draw them back to each other. Sebastian frustrated me at times, but in light of his very tragic family history, it makes sense. When he wasn't frustrating, I wanted to eat him up. He really was a sexy hero. There is something about heroes named Sebastian for this reader. We usually get along very well. I loved that Aneesa stayed genuine with him and true to herself. She was an adorable, very lovable woman that I wanted to hug. I liked how she acknowledged her immaturity and shallowness prior to the bombshell that changes her for the better when this book begins. She shows true maturity and emotional integrity as a woman.

It goes without saying how happy I am to read a Harlequin Presents with a heroine of color. I wish that instead of referring to Aneesa as olive-skinned, she would have just came out and call her brown-skinned. Even with that small issue, I was thrilled to bits with the tidbits about Aneesa's Indian heritage and the glimpses into her family life and culture.

I am loving this Notorious Wolfes series. Each book peels back the many layers into the fascinating emotional dynamics in this troubled family. Each Wolfe is distinct in my mind. I already adore Jacob. I think I will just float away like a happy cloud when I finally get to his book.

Abby Green hasn't disappointed me yet. This is another emotional, intense, very good romance by her that has all that I like about Harlequin Presents, but added depths that make me enjoy every minute of reading the book.

Definite recommend from this reader.

Another five stars book by Abby Green. I adored both the hero and the heroine. Aneesa was open, honest and one of the most adorable heroines I've read. She is vulnerable when it comes to Sebastian of course but very strong and determined to become a good single mother. I was very touched by the way she helped Sebastian fight his demons and didn't allow him to hide away.

He never witnessed any kind of affection between his parents so his idea of love is quite distorted and he thinks Aneesa feels pity for him and staying out of a sense of responsibility. But the truth is she simply loves him unconditionally and eventually her warmth and love wins him over. His reluctance to accept his baby was frustrating at first but it made perfect sense and made the ending so much sweeter! I will be reading this again!

First was "The Tortured Rake". Then, "The Reckless Playboy". This one is "The Restless Billionaire". Can I make it through all eight ridiculous titles?

First of all: the cover. It is just wrong, all wrong.

Book says: heroine is Bollywood movie star
Cover shows: blonde British babe

Book says: Hero is tall dark and incredibly handsome, rich as Croesus with a splintering green gaze.
Cover shows: short, slightly built dude who looks like a Bollywood movie star.

Book says: they meet in the penthouse of the uberluxurious Mumbai hotel owned by the Hero.
Cover shows: London Clock Tower.

Well, whatever. Onto the story.

....An hour and a half later...

Rats, it was just another one-night-stand-you-got-me-pregnant stories and the heroine was so wallpapery that if I was from Mumbai myself I might be offended. I mean, really, if you want to have the heroine be from another culture you can't just take Barbie and colour her skin, give her henna tattoos and call it a day. India has a completely different culture folks, they aren't just exotic looking Brits.

Pffft.

Sebastian, at least, is a bona fide Harlequin alpha/asshat Hero. He spends the whole book enacting his version of the "Come Here, Go Away" game. Of course, he doesn't actually deserve Aneesa but once he has his epiphany towards the end of the book (which was so run-of-the-mill that I've forgotten it already) he redeems himself.

Best part of the book? This author's version of the "meet cute". They lock eyes at her wedding, just as she's about to say her vows. Their kindred spirits recognize each other (the good ole Harlequin thunderbolt!) and she decides she can't go through with it and live a life without love! Her children having to live a lie! She runs out of the room, into a service elevator and BAM! Up to the penthouse she goes. Runs to the balcony, encounters the Hero in his pool and asks him to make love to her, to make her henna tattoos have MEANING, dammit, before she succumbs to a life of pain and loneliness, never to love again. Allrighty then, he says, and quick as a wink has her horizontal.

2.5 stars, mostly because the only thing memorable about it was the wallpaper heroine.

Let me just enjoy the h's name: Aneesa.
It's just I don't want to read another Pippa, Poppy, Puppy or whatever.

You know I rarely complain about the title with the HPs because it'd be a waste of energy. Just want to clarify that nobody stole a bride, in any case the bride stole herself ran away from her wedding with OM.

Sebastian, is your typical H borned in rich family with an awful father, plus his mom had mental problems and his 7858654765876 half siblings and his one full brother had their own demons to fight so he got used to being lonely.

Aneesa was raised in a loving family, then she became a successful Bollywood actress and lost her way a little bit (she became superficial). She is about to marry a bigger Bollywood star when she realizes (helped by the H's eyes) the hollow life she will commit herself to and remembers she is an HP h (that she wants to marry for love and blah blah). So she flees the wedding as any intelligent person would: she goes to the top floor.

And what's a woman to do if your fiancé isn't giving it to you and you find the gloriously wet and almost naked H at the Hotel's penthouse? Exactly...
I don't want to give the rest of the story away, I'll just say that because of HPs I will never ever trust condoms, thank you very much.

I loved Aneesa's understanding of Sebastian's modus operandi and her courage in accepting to be a single mother in the kind of environment she lived.

Restless Billionaire by Abby Green is the third book about the Wolfe family and it features Sebastien the hotelier brother and the full-brother of Nathaniel(of the first book). Sebastien was always a quiet child, fading behind his more out-going brother Nathaniel, Jacob was the only one who tried to draw him out and when he left Sebastien was left as it is. Sebastien like the Wolfe clan has scars from his childhood especially relating to the fact that his mother doesn't recognize him. When the book opens he is at his Mumbai hotel where two big Bollywood stars are getting married.
Our heroine Aneesa is a top star who thought she was in love with the man she was marrying, when she finds out a few days before her wedding that her groom to be is gay. She is left in a fix, she doesn't want to hurt her parents who already financially depleted have spent a fortune on her wedding. In the middle of the ceremony she runs away into Sebastien's private suite where she cries all over him and bemoans the fact that she will not be having a wedding night and that she is ruined. Well, one thing leads to another and she gets a wedding night without the wedding with Sebastien though they decide it is for one night only.
Weeks, later a scandal hit and now pregnant Aneesa shows up in London at Sebastien's office. His reaction to the pregnancy is not that good but he agrees to let Aneesa move into his house till she can return home. Thus begins the story. What I liked about the book was that Sebastien didn't immediately and miraculously feel connected to the baby as is the case usually. Aneesa calls on him when he is rude to her. I also liked how an Indian wedding was shown in the book, it felt good. The h/h were good. We also get to see more of Jacob. A very enjoyable read.

I really want to give this an extra star for the heroine, ex-Bollywood actress Aneesa. I liked her. (ETA: Screw it. I did. This was more enjoyable than the other AG book I read). The hero Sebastian on the other hand, not so much. I found him to be more disappointing than anything with his constant up and down mercurial mood swings that come out of nowhere and always explained away cause of his childhood trauma. Which by the way, is a laundry list long for why he has trust issues. If it's not one thing, it's the other for why he needs to shut out the heroine. Daddy was an abusive drunk, wasn't Mommy's favorite who went crazy, nobody noticed poor little quiet Sebastian, elder brother ditched me and my 23678 siblings so I have serious trust issues and may be cursed with The Rage Gene™. Too much. The author tried too hard in making this guy an unlikable brooding jerk for far too long. I usually love jerk heroes but I need some kind of emotion outside of sneering and a clenched jaw dammit. This guy wasn't giving me much to work with. Just make his reasons for constant brooding & lashing out make sense. Or not sound so....pathetic. And you use a fun trope, the oopsy! pregnancy trope, and barely do anything with it? Seriously? No MOC, bonding over the baby, nothing? Major womp womp womp.

LOVED LOVED LOVED IT,such a wonderful read,Sebastian-Aneesa both connect the first time their eyes meet,Sebastian feels the fears that Aneesa suffered and helps her out and they soent a night together which results in unplanned pregnancy,Aneesa comes to inform Sebastian and he reacts badly says some hurtful things but apologises immediately,Sebastian asks Aneesa to stay with him till the scandal dies down in Mumbai and she agrees and from there on Aneesa tries to understand Sebastian's dark secrets and fears,Aneesa somehow manages Sebastian to open up eemotionally and slowly she heals him and they find their happiness and HEA

What i really liked was Sebastian was not shown immediately to connect and bond with his baby he struggles, his fears and panic are well described and given the fact way he has suffered so much abuses physically from his father and emotionally by first his mother and then by Jacob, slowly Sebastian starts opening up but he still does'nt trust Aneesa and he really connected with the baby when he felt it moved(i really liked this gesture)it completely justifies how Sebastian has shut down all emotions,he never had normal childhood and on top of that rejection by his mother,a normal family is just a concept for him but when he feels the baby it becomes so real and he bonds with it completely and finally makes amends with Jacob and he comes to know Jacob was always there for him watching out for him,now together they are working on re building Wolfe Manor

Inspite of his fears he takes his chances on love-happiness and he gets his much deserved HEA,the wedding rituals were fun to read,it was fabulous read for me,eagerly waiting to go on to next sibling story that is Lucas Wolfe

Great read

Third in the Bad Blood collection.

Aneesa is a Bollywood star, who left her groom at the altar . Unknowingly she stumbles into Sebastian's room, and filled with fears of future and broken dreams, asks him to make love to her. After Sebastian leaves, she manages to put her life together, but then comes the big surprise, and her entire life is in ashes. She is disgraced, everyone seems to hate her, she disappointed her family. That was quite a shock after being the somewhat spoiled actress.

Sebastian has trouble accepting the baby, in the begining he more or less ignores the fact that it's the baby that brought Aneesa to him. That's understandable after his childhood. His father was a monster, his mother can't even remember that he exists and keeps calling him by his brother's name (Nathaniel from The Tortured Rake). And beneath it all there's a fear that he will become like his father, a mean and vicious drunk. But he still feels drawn to Aneesa, and does thaw a bit even before the separation.

Some of the good points are scenes with the Wolf siblings, especially Jacob, and Aneesa's family. It was a good book that pulled me in, but I'm not a big fan of Sebastian or even for that matter Aneesa, so...

Abby green is one of my favorite MB author. This book is fantastic. Author has handled the heroine with different culture beautifully without losing the focus of the story.

Loved both sebastian and aneesa.

as this book is a part of a series , there is no epilogue (haven't read other books in this series)but there is mention of the lead pair of this story in a The Legend of de Marco

P.S- one thing i didn't like is the cover not only it does not go with the story but also it is recycled from Hollywood Husband, Contract Wife: Ruthless by jane porter . I get it that publishing 100s of books MB doesn't have time to have new cover for every book, but atleast they should have chosen different cover. lol rant over. but go for the book

I have to blame Abby Green for turning me into a prune ;-) Read this in the bath and ended up shrivelled, because I simply had to finish it!

From the moment you start reading you realise that this is going to be highly charged emotional book. When Bollywood star Aneesa walks out on the society wedding of the year and seeks refuge in Sebastian Wolfe's penthouse the chemistry springing up between them is instantaneous and explosive. What follows their night of passion could be predictable but it is anything but.

I found myself completely absorbed in the story and willing them on to their happy ending. And what an emotional journey they find themselves in. I shan't give the plot away, you will have to read the book!

RESTLESS BILLIONAIRE is from Mills & Boon Modern, new series BAD BLOOD. There are altogether eight volumes in this series which track the lives of a powerful dynasty, where secrets and scandal never sleep, The Notorious Wolfes.

RESTLESS BILLIONAIRE is one brother’s story by the fabulous Abby Green.

Ruthless and aloof business tycoon Sebastian Wolfe feels a certain attraction toward the bride, Aneesa Adani, a Bollywood star being married at one of his successful chain of hotels, the uberluxurious Mumbai Grand Wolfe Hotel. It was the high society wedding of the year. Sebastian chides himself for lusting after the bride and walks away to his penthouse suit.

And who should interrupt his privacy but the bride herself, Aneesa Adani, running away from her wedding!

Aneesa, just a day before found her fiancé in a compromising situation but was forced to go through with the wedding as she thought of the damage a cancelled wedding would do to her career and her Dad’s reputation. But when it came to the crunch, she couldn’t go through with it. And running away seemed the only answer. But running brought her in the penthouse suit of a gorgeous stranger, whose piercing blue eyes was in her mind when she decided to walk!

Now, would Sebastian fulfill this bride’s expectation for the wedding night?
And letting passionate Aneesa close to him would ignite the spark which could melt his ruthless heart.

Abby Green does a great job showing how people lie to themselves to save their feelings and soothe their egos. Both Sebastian and Aneesa have plenty of baggage with their names on it. It is only in opening those suitcases and examining each item inside can these two people find their happily ever after.

I would definitely like to read the other stories in this series as the Wolfe Dynasty turned out to be so interesting with hidden pasts and skeletons in their closets!

Redolent with breathtaking romance, spectacular emotional punch, a believable conflict and vivid atmospheric details RESTLESS BILLIONAIRE is sure to thrill readers and is another fantastic romance from the fabulous pen of Abby Green.

The book begins with the heroine Aneesa, a famous Bollywood star, in the middle of her wedding to her co-star. She is terrified and desperately wants to stop the ceremony knowing that the marriage will be a sham, but is worried about the shame her actions may cause her family. In the end she can't go through with it and runs, inadvertently running into the hero Sebastian's suite. Sebastian, unbeknownst to Aneesa, is the owner of the hotel, earlier he had been observing the wedding and had felt a connection with Aneesa after sensing her fear and loneliness. They end up spending the night together agreeing it's a one night thing, but a few weeks later Aneesa discovers she is pregnant and is forced to leave India for a while due to the scandal. When she tells Sebastian about the pregnancy he offers her a place to stay and they both fall into a rather awkward pattern of living together and trying to be friends, not to mention trying to ignore the chemistry between them.

I really enjoyed this book, the accidental pregnancy plotline is a traditional one, but one that Abby Green does spectacularly (I recommend Abby's 'Ruthlessly Bedded, Forcibly Wedded' for a perfect example of this!). I really loved Sebastian as a character, he is different from the previous two Wolfe brothers, he is more quiet and introverted, although equally as tortured. He took a while to come to terms with the pregnancy and his feelings towards Aneesa and this was very honest and well written. I found Aneesa difficult to warm to, she seemed a little silly at first but as the story progressed she matured and became more sure of herself, which was very satisfying to read.
As expected from Abby Green's books, the chemistry between the characters lit up the pages and the intense emotions kept me turning the pages as fast as I could.

Firstly, I'd like to say how amazing an author Abby Green is. The way she describes, how faultlessly her plots seem to flow, and the depth of her characters - everything was amazing.

It was actually a very good book, I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't been in this mood for a MOC-with-h-in-love-with-H-and-H-in-love-with-someone-else triangle. Dammit, I want to read more books like Magnolia and Paper Husband *sob*

I guess the book kind of fell flat for me with Sebastian's constant coming-close-and-pulling-back routine and the heroine's helplessness in doing anything to help him. It stretched out a bit too long, so the romance was sorta killed somewhere in there. (Or maybe I'm just an old fashioned girl who enjoys her romances better with a good ol' MOC. No but wait, seriously. It would have been better with a MOC. I dunno why, but seriously, I'd have liked the book better if it was pregnancy-MOC trope.
How shallow have thou turnt, Aayesha?

)

Another thing I'd like to comment on - the Indian aspect. It was very interesting seeing my culture being described by a Western author. Very interesting to see a different view-point and a different way of describing than what I'm used to, than what I think like.

All in all, it was a good book. Don't let my review spoil it for you - I'm just extremely moody and so. Desperately. In. Need. For. That. Kind. Of. Diana Palmer-like. Angst.

My first tiff with this book is with the publisher for yet another "white washed" model instead of an Indian woman – actually it's not even washed, it's blatantly Anglo-Saxon. Can't authenticity for once just overrule marketing's apparent beliefs that non-white models don't sell so well? I'm sure other Asians and ethnic minorities would agree. This is INSULTING.

Having said all that, I really liked the premise of this book, but it seemed restrained. It was very readable but the angst and passion just didn't feel genuine. I think touching more on the cultural divide would have been better than the "woe-is-me-beccause-I'm-a-Wolfe" arc.

Book 3 in the 8-book Bad Blood series about the Wolfe siblings - in this case Sebastian.

Wow! I was captivated from the first page and literally didn't put it down until the end. The heroine in this case is a Bollywood actress - don't think I have ever read one of them in any M&B series.

Super sexy read - Abby just gets better and better with her writing.

Highly recommend this.

But...
You keep fucking her everytime as possible. Saya tahu garis merah serial ini pada masa lalu gelap keluarga Wolfe, tapi selalu diekspos hanya utk pembenaran krn bersikap spt asshole spt Sebastian, sulit bagi saya utk menyukai novel ini. Too much drama will kill me....

Book started out interestingly in a way that one would not expect the hero and heroine to meet, at the heroine's wedding (even though she didn't really want to at the time), and having that immediate spark/ connection right away as soon as they look at one another. And later after she runs out of her wedding, she unexpectedly finds him in his suite, and then they proceed to have a scorching night together that changes their worlds forever even while convincing themselves that nothing would change and they would be out of each others hair in the morning. Only it doesn't happen that way since their night has a lasting consequence that neither one could ignore, which brings them together again with lots of heat and passion along the way.

There is a lot of push and pull from Anessa and Sebastian with Anessa wanting a deeper connection to him while Sebastian, though he physically wants her, doesn't want her to get too close and when she does he pulls away from her, and being cold to her. And that hurts Anessa deeply, which I don't blame her because she keeps giving herself to him over and over, showing her vulnerability to him, but he is so reluctant to share anything of himself with her, wanting to keep the relationship just physical, and Anessa can't do that. And I think she was right to be upset because even I was like "Sebastian stop playing games with her, enough is enough." I just thought it was too much of him pulling away, and I get he wants to stay and control and not fall in love so he won't get hurt and also because he hasn't had the greatest role model for love and all, but after awhile it was just like either open up a little bit to Anessa or stop sleeping with her and find someone else. It was just completely selfish of him, thinking only about himself and not her in the least just focusing on his own release. Though I think half way through the book he does realize what he's doing to her, and doesn't like it, knowing he is being unfair, but he still does it anyway because he can't not touch or hold her because he wants her so much. But he soon does learn the error of his ways and comes around at the end, and more than makes up for it in the end.

Anessa is this sweet, slightly shy woman, who wants to be loved and cared for and have a great life with a husband, who love and adores her, and have a family someday. But her fiancé would not give that to her since he was gay and only marrying her to save his reputation in the public eye, so by the time she meets Sebastian she is vulnerable and a bit broken, but Sebastian brings her to life again and she realizes that she wants to be with him and love him for the rest of her life even though he tends to be jerk sometimes with the hot and cold attitude that does scar her a bit. But even still she sticks by his side not wanting to leave him especially when he is having a difficult time dealing with certain situations in his life, mainly his family and the fact that his brother Jacob is back. And she helps Sebastian through that as well as helps him to heal and make up with his brother because she wants what's best for him, loves him and wants to just see him happy. And they have that connection that neither one of them wants to see broken, but near the end of the book she believes that Sebastian will never love her and will come to resent her and the baby for intruding on his life so she decides to leave, but not before Sebastian convinces her of his love and devotion to her and the baby and wants to marry her.

Overall the book was pretty good, and was definitely worth the read. This is part of a series, and I read book number one about Sebastian's full brother Nathaniel, who I loved by the way and his wedding does take place in this book, with the rest of the books focusing on their half siblings, and I can't wait to read more about this scarred family looking for their happily ever afters in the end.

the book is written by Abby Green. she is supposed to be a very good mnb writer. but i should say this is the officially the most pathetic book i have read.

a very whimsy image of the lead lady. the bollywood star who refuses to get married to her fiance' and runs away from her own wedding ceremony which is held in a 5 star hotel in Mumbai. she lands up in the penthouse suite of the male lead Sabastian. Sabastian is again a man who has a horrible childhood and hence is commitment phobic. they end up making love and all the usual mnb tell tale.

the story as you see is a pathetic. the lead characters fail to hold your attention. there are you know it all moments in the book. if you have read at least three mnbs you would know what i am talking about.

the title and the cover page do nothing to hold you attention either. all in all a very disappointing book. READ IT ON YOUR OWN RISK!!

let me quickly go to a better book!! will see you guys later!!

I think this was my favorite of the series so far...

I really liked the characters and the way they developed and changed. Teh locales were awesome and there was not as much in this book, after the beginning, that took place in the jet set. I guess i mean that a lot of it was the everyday things of life and it was a little more relateable, even though the characters are rich :)

in some ways I wanted a little more to the ending, but I think that might be coming in other books, as there was more about Nathaniel and Kate in this one as the story continues to move on. And I really liked the information and inclusion of Carrie.

finished!! And I like it.
I like how the author, tell about Indian Wedding. I can imagining it.

After imagining at India, the setting move to London.

In this novel, I like how Aneesa faced her problem. And she got support from the family. When she went to London, and trying not burden anyone else. Sebastian offer his penthouse to Aneesa.

At london, she got abused by the haters (at Indian Largest Community in London I forgot the place name), when she trying to feel her Home Country. She miss her family. I know that feel sist. I call it HOME SICK.

After 3 books of The Notorious Wolfe, Jacob was the key.
Book 1 tell us about (bad blood) Nathaniel - Jacob, book 2 Lucas - Jacob, book 3 Sebastian - Jacob.
It make me so curious about Jacob.

You know, Aneesa pronouncing similiar to pronouncing my name wkwkwk
Aneesa (re: A-ni-sa) and I'm Annisa (re: An-ni-sa). AHAHAHAHA

Sebastian in my head

ahahahaha

Nama2 karakter yg berasal dari India berbau2 muslim (Aneesa & Jamal) yah mestinya mah nama India aja kaya Kajool, Rajiv toh ritual pernikahannya pun dari Hindu, lebih pas saja sih menurut saya. Setelah memutuskan kabur dari pernikahannya sendiri (krn calon suaminya gay), Aneesa langsung masuk ke area griya tawang yang dimiliki Sebastian (griya tawang kok gampang bgt masuknya), lalu terpesona lalu one night stand lalu hamil. Selanjutnya yah begitulah. Tarik ulur apakah Sebastian mau menikahi Aneesa biasa2 aja.

The girl is a starlet from the Indian movie industry, popularly known as Bollywood. Being an Indian woman myself, I found several common stereotypes about the girl in the story, portrayed incorrectly. In India , the marriage format varies enormously based on which region of the country you belong to, and which religion.

But I don't think authors are likely to put in that level of in depth research to bring out an absolutely authentic context. Just like how I take bull fighting mad Spaniards and Greek men with pagan beliefs, I am willing to take this OTT Indian setting also with a pinch of salt.

The guy is your regular Spaniard hotelier, no qualms there. Some electricity flows between them as they take an eyeful of each other, for the first time. Its just that it happens to be a few seconds before her famed Bollywood wedding !

Following the zing she felt, she abandons the wedding (the groom was gay anyway !) , promptly takes an elevator to the heroes pent house suite. And demands that he fulfill her "dream wedding night". He happily obliges, whats there to refuse. The scene starts off as corny but the actual consummation is well written.

They say bye to each other, thank the other for the amazing experience and simply go their ways. Of course, where is the story in that? So, in comes the baby track.

She is pregnant, goes looking for him. And in the process of adjusting to the idea of parenthood and commitment, they DO IT a few more times. And finally decide, marriage it is. This time its a white wedding, no frills. HEA.

Nothing wrong with the book. But it dint do anything to excite me either. Just passing stuff.

3 stars.

amor."
