Set in Washington, D.C., Before I Let Go is the story of three different types of men who happen to be best friends. The novel takes a shocking look at how these men view and deal with love and sex. Nathan Montgomery can only be described in one way. He is a DOG with an obsession for conquering as many women as possible. When he breaks his own rules and falls for two woman at the same time, all hell breaks loose. Brendan Shue is the type of man every woman claims to want ... at least until they get one. He is sensitive loyal, and caring ... the only problem is that he could be the poster child for 'Good Guys who love Bad Girls'. Cory Dandridge has his head on straight. He's successful, smart, and handsome. The only thing he's guilty of is being a typical man. He's never gotten over his first love, and when he moves back to his hometown he has to face feelings and secrets in ways that will change his life forever.
I like learning of other cultures and mindfulness. Although I got to know all the characters, I wasn't crazy about Cory, Brendon and Nate. I found them to be self centered and used their girlfriends for their needs only to get angry if the girls did anything like the guys did.
This was a great book! I loved seeing the male perspective regarding relationships. And the ending brought the characters full circle. Go Darren Coleman! Your writing was is exceptional!
