I loved the craft ideas in this book and especially their connection to nature, summer and the beach. We spend a lot of time out of doors in the summer and this had some great ideas for those treasures. My daughter and I also made the mermaid dolls during Winter break last year and her idea for her Kids Craft Fair (melted wax designs on hot rocks) came from this book.

Loved this book, so many great ideas for girls AND boys, grownups too. Plenty of good photo assistance as well, this is a wonderful book to give at the beginning of summer to keep the family busy and occupied creatively throughout the "downtime" from school.
