It's impressive how Mashima has the ability to create and design new characters; it's simply overwhelming.

Not quite sure if I am liking this arc with the games or not, but hopefully I will like it more as it progresses. I was glad to see Lucy showing her stuff and by that I mean her actual fighting ability. It was nice to see her being tough, I have been enjoying her development as an integral part of the guild!

4/5 Whoooa Ooh we’re half way there. 32 out of 63 volumes read. Volume 32 is thankfully pretty good. While there’s nothing particularly deep, moving, or shocking there are some pretty good battles. I particularly liked the battle between Lucy and Flare Corona. The battle between Mystogen and Jura was pretty promising as well.

The opening couple chapters which were the “game” portion of this days tournament were pretty meh but not terrible.

Lucy, Natsu, Flare Corona, Orga, Rufus, Gray, Juvia, and Lyon on the cover of volume 32.

- AMO A MAVIS. SHE'S SO FUCKING CUTE AND ADORABLE :)))) Además, amo que sea la primera directora del gremio.

Grand Magic Games Arc

Jellal entered the grand magic games under the disguise of mystogan!

The first day of the grand magic games have begun and well both FT teams are not doing so great.

But it looks like something is happening under the surface. Maybe something to do with Raven Tail? It looks like they have it out for FT.

And Carla has just foreseen something happening—probably something bad knowing fairy tail.

Shounen manga loves this kind of episodes “battle competition”. (It is called Dai matou enbu in Fairy tail.) For example, Dragon ball, Yuyuhakusho and so on because we can see almost all popular characters or new attractive characters there. It makes readers to feel a specialty, I think. Moreover, we want to cheer up our own the favorite team because of a team battle system. I can enjoy not only the story but also the character’s relationship.

Crazy hair lady

[Lissibith]

Nothing good is happening for the guild in this volume, but as Natsu says, that should just make their come from behind all the more exciting. No questions answered really, but a few new ones have been given to us. Really, it's a lot of setup and some really fascinating fights. LEft me wanting the next volume *now.*

[TheBookishHobbit]

I'm really enjoying the games, there is so much action going on I'm loving it! I also really appreciate that Fairy Tail has not be winning every single battle. (Even if it is by cheating sometimes). But so far this arc has been such a blast!

[Jeni]

Rough first day.

4.5 ⭐️
Wendy and Carla were found passed out on the side walk after an extreme amount of magic was suddenly lost
It was Raven Tail that hurt Wendy, which is coincidently master Makorovs sons Dark Wizard Guild
Fairytail has two teams Team A: Natsu, Gray, Lucy, Erza, Wendy (Elfman currently filling in) and Team B: Gajeel, Juvia, Laxus, Mystogen, Mirajane
Mystogan is actually Jallal from Crime Scorce’
The first contest is for ‘the hidden’, players participating are: Gray (Fairytail A), Juvia (Fairytail B), Yeager (Quatro Cerberus), Nullpudding (Raven Tail), Beth (Mermaid Heel), Eve (Blue Pegasus), Rufus (Sabertooth), Lyon (Lamia Scale)
They contoured a city inside the arena, I believe they gathered a lot of wizards in one place to have an easier time doing crazy magical things like this
In the city they are supposed to play ‘hide and seek’ but there’s a lot of clones of the contestants to make it harder to know who is who. Hitting the real enemy earns points, hitting clones loses them
Gray and Juvia lost by a lot, Sabertooth takes the first challenge
Lucy (Fairytail Team A) and Flare (Raven Tail) or voted to the first battle, it’s intense and Flre fights dirty! Lucy managed to summon 2 spirits at once!!
Captain or not ye Fiore Royal Cherry Blossom Holy Knights: Arcadios is talking about Zeref?
Flare threatens Lucy to not do anything otherwise Asuka gets hurt. Lucy takes and takes, Flare threatens to brand over her FT mark with Raven Tail.
Natsu has great ears and goes to help Asuka to put Lucy back in the fight. What a man!
Lucy and Gemini pull of a linked Urano Metria spell, which WOULD HAVE WON! If the Raven Tail Obra didn’t dispel it, Lucy lost due to the loss of magic power.
Natsu comes down to encourage Lucy, telling her the from-behind-victory is way more fun, he’s so good for her!!! I love NaLu
Second battle: Ren (Blue Pegasus) vs. Araña (Mermaid Heel)
Ren Wins.
Third Battle: Warcry (Quatro Cerberus) vs. Olga (Sabertooth)
Olga wins (and very quickly)
Fourth Battle (Final) Mystogan/Jallal (Fairytail B) vs. Jura (Lamia Scale)
Jallal was about to give himself away by using his actual magic but with Merudy link magic Ultear manages to stop him, so Jura wins.
Not a good day for FT ;-;
“I’m writing this a few days after the games; to Lucy, from Levy” what did Carla see? What’s happening???

[Lauren Schnoebelen]

I am enjoying this great magical games competition arc so much. We have finally been introduced to all the teams competing in these games and holy fairy tail plot twist lol. I know the bad mojo is present with Raven Tail and I desperately want to know what they are doing!!!! I absolutely loved the Lucy fight and the Hidden competition was really fascinating/a good introduction to what these teams are like for their magic and power. Can't wait to see where it goes, especially with Natsu's optimism!

[Stephen]

The Grand Magic Games.....have BEGIN!!! Fairy Tail battles their old rivals...Raven Tail! Ezra They may no longer be a “dark guild,” but as the first round begins Erza's sure there's still something shady going on. Fairy Tail's team(s) are both in the last two places...and they may not be able to unravel the mystery if they don't do something about that! This volume is mostly battles and so less to discuss or dissect but still fun for the readers!

[Meakuel]

[Bill Fish]

This book is full of exciting adventure, with epic battles, as the Grand Magic Games start. The only reason I didn't give it a 4 or 5 star is because it left me feeling frustrated. However, I have a feeling this book is a great set-up for what's coming.

[Amanda Setasha]

The "magic games" or whatever is going on is an interesting concept and I like it. But I feel like they're jumping around too much.

[nidah05 (SleepDreamWrite)]

Another good volume.

[Lisa]

This is some craziness and fun going on. This was a great next installment to the series. I am really looking forward to seeing what happens next.

[Brendan]

Looking forward to the next volume.

[Ojani Rosario]

Wasn't that great

[Nadine]

4,5 Sterne

[Evan Williamson]

The Grand Magic Games arc continues in a volume with action, comedy, character building, and some emotional moments.

[Chris]

Don't really care about this part. I want to see Elfman in Wendy's outfit tho xD

[Bookworm Erica]

This series just gets better and better , turly great

[DonutKnow]

I always feel uplifted reading Fairy Tail. I’m sure the guild will catch up with everyone else 💪👍

[Dale Regnier]

Fairy Tail #32

Fairy Tail are in the games!
But, two Fairy Tail groups are in.
Raven Tail are also playing.
I think they are a dark guild...

[Krystal Caloia]

Actually showing some losses and how they deal with them and still support each other. I loved this volume!
